ManuTOO,

Maybe you didn't change this, but now online serving direction is too sensitive. Maybe it has to do with lag or delay; I don't know. For example, if I try to serve down the center on first serve as I normally do by applying a little direction to the right, the ball goes out by a lot to the right. If I barely apply right direction (tap and release the arrow) during the end of the serve, I may be lucky and hit the line, or the ball will be out to the right. It is very frustrating, it is not this way offline, and it is a change since before this update series.

Thanks.

This is extremely exaggerated :fear: The serve sensitivity is fine.

The post was my opinion and reflects my observation, not yours, and it is not exaggerated (not speaking for anyone else's experience). Maybe for you the serve senstivity is fine, but my experience is different. I don't think that it is always bad in all online games for me, but it definitely is different for me offline. So, I hold to my opinion of what I observed; glad it is working out for you.

viktor1212 , u still missed 2 questions : what are the AutoDelay & Delay values before u start the game ? And I'll add a new one, what is the Average Ping value ?

CC, you should still be pressing left (or right) when you hit the ball. If you aim like this, the aiming will be consistent offline & online whatever the Delay is.

tati cornet, just download & install the game again ; if there's some cache problem, try with the Toogame link.

I actually used to be quite good before the new update came out and now I suck :( it seems so much harder to move? I especially can't move forwards and backwards at all.
I play tennis a lot so I have 2 comments:
1. Why is it so easy to be wrong footed? It is almost impossible to move back from where you came on this game but you only wrong foot someone when you have them on the run in real life; watch a professional match. It is too easy to wrong foot someone on this game.
2. What happened to the dropshot reply to the dropshot? I know it's a hard shot to play in real life, but I still play it quite a lot when my opponent is behind the baseline; it would maybe not be a very good dropshot or even hit the net, but slicing miles wide? That would never happen.

ManuTOO:

I may not have described correctly how I press the buttons. My point is that I can't serve (hold the buttons) the same way offline and online and get the same result. Just a little time holding the button to try to hit the center line results often in a fault to the right, whereas the same button pressing offline would yield a serve a little to the left, or right on the line.

I tried to install it, but it kept saying it wasn't working during the installation, so I pressed ignore in three different parts in the download and it didn't work. Anyone else have this problem?

JakobTennisMB,
try the Toogame download link (from 1st post of this topic)

CC,
as you said same than ur 1st post, my answer is the same, and u're welcome to read it again ;)

Somil.,
1. I think it's close of real life reaction now, but still a bit faster than real life (when you have 100% speed) ; online, the Delay makes it more hard, though
2. for next update, the missed drop shots will mostly fall in the net

ManuTOO:

OK. Really, sometimes it just seems that you are unwilling to admit or accept that this is a problem. Whatever. The serving isn't the same offline and online, maybe it has to do with lag, but it doesn't have to do with how I am pressing the buttons (of course I have to press the buttons to serve, but even if I am pressing left or right when I hit the ball, the amount of time I am pressing it to serve down the line offline often does not yield the same result for online play). So, whatever. Tell me something I am doing wrong, I guess.

I routinely hit aces down the line against the CPU and have a decent first serve percentage. Yet, with many online matches, I can't get any first serves (fast serves) in; they frequently hit the net or are out. I don't think I am changing the way I serve from offline to online; more likely, something else is the issue. Whatever.

CC, if you play with a Delay above 117ms, the game will slow down a bit, thus you'll need more long time to aim left/right...
Also, in normal online play, if you see the turtle, it means the game is waiting for a network message, and thus it'll perturb & raise the time u need to aim left/right.

Manu this version is really hard. The roddick serve. I could not get in one 1st serve in in match against tati. And the moving is to hard. u cant turn quickly around to try to get a runnder fot. And its to much easy volley misses ingame. Can u please do something with it ?

hi manu.
i would like to complain about one thing. you are reducing the net game, reducing the speed, reducing the precision on serve, but never reducing the topspin. it's totally unrealistic, nobody can use spin like this, but it's stilll the same. i am sure several players will think the same, but it's totally ridiculous to lose miserably against moonballs players.
hopefully you will accept to do something as you did after serena's complain ;)

i think that something is wrong with this game.i used to be a solid player, but now anybody can beat me. i am used to the service not being that strong weapon (it hasn't been from TE2006 even), but now the service is so hard to return, or even worse, it can be returned, but there is no way you can make anything of the return, as it is all about the serve now.

bottom line is, the serve is way too strong now. this all refers to the online play.
