actually, all the Doc folder is currently from TEM2, including the order forms & the licenses. I just changed the license files as it was pretty fast to do...

Here are some problems I have discovered:
1. The career mode doesn't follow the age egilibity rules issued by ATP, WTA and ITF.
2. No Junior's year-end championships in the career mode.
3. The Olympiad in the career mode doesn't have any home nation reserved slot. I am ranked 200+, and is the top-1 player in my country right now, my country is the Olympiad home nation, but I still can't participate due to the ranking thing.

Very disapointed with this so far

Honestly, i am very disapointed. I am a big fan of tennis elbow, bought the previous version, played over 100 matches on itst mode. I was so happy when i heared that new version is about to be created. But this videos... i know, early version, alpha version... but i dont see the difference? Motion of running still the same, shots, everything... the same. Correct me if i am wrong, please. I have enormous respect for manutoo who is behind the best similation of tennis game in history, by far, but i was expecting something else. Improved, this looks like a patch. I say again, correct me if i am wrong, but can you tell me 1. 2. 3. 4... difference between old and new. Cause itst verzion looks three times better then this alpha version.

Recently bought the game and really enjoying it! Great work. By far better than all the other tennis games (yes, I've tried them)

1. Playing with a controller and wondering if it is possible to swap button+up/down actions? I'd like for b1+up to be top spin and b1+down to be short strike. By default it is the opposite.
2. Before starting a game you can decide between best of 1, 3 or 5 sets, but I'd like to play with the shorter set format, i.e. tiebreak at 3-All. Is that possible? I like "quick" matches, but would prefer best of 3 shorter sets than 1 set.
3. The line judge at the opposite end of where the ball was out, signals that the ball is out as well. I don't think that occurs in real tennis.
4. I've read that modding isn't supported in TE4 yet. Does that also including changing names? I'd really like real names

that bug was fixed

Ah yes, I see "player names were incorrect" was fixed in SubBuild 2021.3.16 and I'm running 2021.3.13. I thought the game auto updated as I recalled reading about such a feature a while back, but I guess not.
Downloading the game again from the original link updated the game

Everybody having an issue with the TE4-Patcher,
I updated it in the last version of the full installer. So for the next update, please try again the TE4-Patcher and if it still fails, click on the Gear icon on the top left of the window, click on Generate, and from the opened folder, send me the "Player.log" file (it should contain much more information than before).

1) Yes, go to Settings -> Controls -> Player 1 -> Remap Strikes ; however, for a controller, I recommend to set 1 strike per button (eg from TE2013: topic15-29252.php )

2) Set Settings -> World Tour -> Games Per Set to 3

3) Yes, it's not realistic, but it gives a bit of animation

4b) The game checks for update once a week ; you can launch Windows Start Button -> Tennis Elbow 4 -> TE4-Patcher if you want to check for update at each start, or in-game click on Settings -> Misc -> Check for Update

TE4 will look like from ~2013 instead of ~2003 for TE2013. (ie: I still don't have a AAA game budget )

indeed it didn't work anymore, it'll be fixed in the next update, thanks to your report !

Small bug report. To reproduce:

1. Start new World Tour game with default settings for sets (2 for all, except for GS where it is 3).
2) Start first match.

Expected: Settings are best of 3 sets.
Actual: Settings are best of 1 set.

Not sure if related, but I changed Settings > World Tour > Games per set to 3.

How do I add depth to top spin and acceleration strikes? The most depth I've managed is halfway from the service line to the base line. I've never been able to hit a shot long I've read strike depth in the docs and scanned the forum, but didn't find anything on the topic. Found something about moving forward when hitting, but as soon as I press a button the player stays in the position.

You can only achieve deep shots by luck (and in this case, they'll be mostly weak shots), or by standing well inside your baseline ; this is more realistic than TE2013 (see this mini-blog post : viewtopic.php?p=267234#p267234 )
