As it gives some issues to several users, I'll likely add an optional run boost helper in the future.

2) Try to lower the Far Crow density in Settings -> Video -> Advanced.
Alternatively, you can turn on the 2D Background.
What is your GPU ?

1) ok thanks, it does look a little more realistic it's true
2) I have Radeon Vega 8

What is your controller ? If you play with the pad instead of the analog stick, does it work better ?

Yes, I have the latest version. I play with an XBOX 360 controller using the analog stick. I tried two different controllers just in case but it happened with both. I'll try out the pad when I play again.

Hey Manu,

Just downloaded the latest version and the female players hold the racket very...unusually. Think it might be a bug. I found this after reinstalling the game.

CHAPI,
The Radeon Vega 8 has only 1546 points here : https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html . It's good for the 2D Background, but it's required to have 5000 points to enjoy the 3D stadiums, so it's normal your GPU gets some issue with the biggest stadiums.
Did the crowd tip helped..? :)

Strikeware203,
someone with the same issue on TEM2 reported setting the Dead Zone to 65. Did you try that ?

HotWingsFTW,
I actually already fixed that but still didn't update the game. Once you have played 1 match, it's fixed anyway... :P

Thank you manu.
Yes it helps for small stadiums and courts, everything works fine there.
I am a bit disappointed, I really like the new 3d environment and I would really like to enjoy it.
Do you have any possibility or solution?

Hi, I also bought the game and played some matches. I also tried the World Tour.

Even in the stage of development, the game is much better than TE2013. :o :o
GAMEPLAY
Pos.
1. "Normal" and "acceleration" strikes have important difference. This has the result that you must built up the point -realistic- and try for a winner when it is possible, hitting acceleration only an "easy" ball. Otherwise its very likely to make an error. In TE2013 I used to hit acceleration in the 90% of the strikes.
2. The position of the player is also very important, and thus the tence for error is much realistic. However, hitting an acceleration strike having a very good position and enough time, is likely to hit very powerfull shots (I reached a forehand 160km/h with Federer)
3. Unforced errors hitting the net. At last, if you try a short or angled "acceleration" shot, it's likely the ball to hit the net (depending in the players' attributes), something that was extremely rare in TE2013. In TE2013 the main cause of unforced error was hitting the ball out, when you were pushing hard, especially trying to reach the sidelines.
4. Forced and unforced errors ratio is much realistic, (even there are some forced errors that counted as unforced). In my opinion in TE2013 the 80-90% of the errors were forced. Now if you try to push and play aggressive, the tendency of unforced error is much more. In other case, if you try to play more safe, you will tend to play passive and defensive.

Neg.
I didn't like the players returns in the services. Especially i think that the players react too slow, and it is easy for the opponent to hit an ace even with 170km/h and without the ball reach the lines. You try to move the player towards the direction of the ball and in most cases it is impossible to reach the ball, even with a slice or on 2nd serves. I would try to decrease the game's difficulty (I play PRO-7), but I find the rally's difficulty satisfied for me.

I am looking forward for the final version... :D
PS Single tournaments will be an option?

CHAPI,
Press the F9 key to lower the details.
Or if your PC and budget allow it, you can buy a new GPU :
- the relatively recent GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER : https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?N=100007709%20601349617 , about US$170
- the older and slightly less powerful Radeon RX 570 : https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?N=100007709%20601296379 , about $140

ippok80,
I'm glad to know you already appreciate TE4 more than TE2013..!

For the return of serve, use the Tricks #3 from here : topic8-6180.php
I may change how it works, though, as it's a recurring complaint.

Yes, the solo tournament is planned. It might take a while before it will be here, though. :fear:

It seems like I won't be able to play TE4 properly since my laptop's GPU has only about 3300 points. I'm a bit surprised though since I can play AO2 on my laptop very well on its high settings and that game has pretty good graphics. I'll still check out the demo when it's available to see how it runs.

iLoveRF,
as CHAPI runs the game with the 3D stadiums with only a 1546-point GPU and get some issues only in the bigger stadiums, yours should be likely enough. But right now, I cannot guarantee it, so I prefer to give a too high number so people don't get bad surprises.

Hello!

The recent update of TE4 brings more fun and realism to the game, that’s great!

What about modding by ourself the sounds of the game? Im sorry to put this that way but the they are outdated... Is there any folds where the sounds are?

Thank you!

TELover,
sound modding currently works like in TEM2 (so almost like TE2013), get the Modding SDK here : topic11-31376.php

This seems to do the trick! I'll have to keep playing but I haven't had any issues after changing that setting :D
