sebaorrego95,
TE4 will be moddable, but 1st I have to finish it (or at least all its foundations) before I can allow modding.
Also, it should be easier to Mod.
You can look the TEM2 Modding SDK if you want to Mod it right now, but outfit & animations aren't moddable, so you're mostly left with Tour Bases & menus : topic11-31376.php .

I don't know if this will be in the final version of TE4 or if it is something from TEM2, but I've juste experienced my first opponent injury during a match ! I was really surprised because I've already experienced a w.o several times, but not a real injury ! I really like that because it add a lot more realism (only 2 w.o and this injury in two seasons). And most of all, it was after the very first game of the match, very difficult to win for me against a player I have a lot of trouble to play, so I was pretty happy haha

Re: Multiplayer in TE4

Postby DaileyLyfe » 01 Jul 2020, 22:00

Hello, my friend and I have been playing TE4 religiously for the past month or so and now want to play each other. Is there any way to do that on the current state of TE4 or do I have to get a different game entirely? If it isn't on TE4 right now, when will it be added?

Ayu62,
I guess you don't play with the latest version, because it was indeed from TEM2 and it should be removed since a little while (else there's bug somewhere... :fear: )

DaileyLyfe,
online is planned but still not implemented ; hopefully, it'll come within a couple of months, but no promise as I guess summer holidays won't be good for my work schedule with my son at home. :fear:
Meanwhile, if you have a good PC and a very good internet connection (eg: Fiber), you may be able to play with your friend using this : https://parsecgaming.com/ (I don't know if you have to pay after a while).

Hi! So, I accidentally changed the joystick input in the screen before the game starts, and I'm wondering if this is what making my dualshock not working properly.

I tried reinstalling the game, but I couldn't get the inputs to default.

My question is:
1. How can I change this input back to the default settings?
2. Is dualshock4 not working with the game yet?

I have same bugs as Davide Menez. The game feels very buggy now, the "constant moving to the right" stops only when I disconnect my controller (I tried keyboard and controller). I hope it will be fixed in a few days.

Melgashi,
do you still have the previous version ?
The last version doesn't have the launcher anymore, so it's not possible to edit the joystick input, so if you have messed them up, you can't fix them anymore...
Else, is there any button or axis working from your controller ? If not, you may need to turn on XInput support to allow support Direct Input in your drivers config panel.

Davide Menez,
flying player fixed for the next update, thanks to your report !
For the left-handed racket issue, I need to do some calculations to put it back in the correct way and hopefully I'll find the time to do it before the end of the day. :fear:

Sali_O296 & Davide Menez,
what is your controller ?
It's working fine with my XBox 360 controller.

Try to open the "Tennis.ini", and check you have this line, under [Controller] :
JoyDeadZone= 0.35

It shouldn't be 0, else the player might move constantly as you have noticed.

How to find the .ini : topic19-32161.php .

lolo2b,
homme ou femme ? Quel numéro de service ?

Davide Menez,
ok, it happens with the keyboard, not the controller. It's fixed for the next update.

Manu,

I'm still having problems with stick drifting. I downloaded the new version, then I started playing World Tour with a Rock Candy Xbox One controller. I noticed that my player would start drifting down, and sometimes to the right. I could correct it by pushing the stick back up and not touching it, but then I would obviously lose the point. I switched to a real Xbox One controller thinking that my Rock Candy finally started to have issues, but the same problems persisted. I went into practice match, however, and had no issues while playing as Player 1, but when I switched to Player 2, the issues came back. It seems to be a deadzone problem, but only in certain situations.

GooeyHead,
did you try to raise the JoyDeadZone (as join above) ?
It'll be changeable in the Controls menu for the next update.
