2014

Nick starts his 2014 season in Brisbane, where he got offered wild card to singles tournament.
He also joined forces with David Goffin in doubles, as the pair will try to qualify here in Brisbane.

Brisbane (250)
This is second time Nick plays an main draw at main tour, first time was of course last year's Wimbledon.
1st round – vs Thiago Alves -> thankfully Nick proved to be favourite, took quick break in first set, saved Thiago's only breakpoint and won 6/3
In the second set, Alves went for 4/1 lead, but Nick managed to get back and even break Alves for one more time to get the second set 6/4.
2nd round – vs Benjamin Becker -> Becker was the first one to get break, as he won Nick’s serve to get to 2/1 lead, Nick saved 5 set points at 3/5 and 4/5, but couldn’t break Becker, so he lost the first set 4/6. Becker continued to be better played in the second set, but he didn’t use any of his 6 breakpoints and when it came to tie break Nick won 8-6. Even though he took Becker’s serve once in master tiebreak, he lost three of his and lost 6-10.

We had no problem to qualify in doubles, we also didn’t have any troubles against Bachiner and Burrieza in the first round, as we saved their only BP and converted 5 out of 6 from ours to get 6/2 6/0 win.
Quaterfinals - vs Becker and Windisch -> Quick breaks in both sets settled an easy 6/3 6/2 for us.
Semifinals – vs Saville and Sela -> It is just amazing how our duo is dominant. Another piece of cake win. 6/3 6/1 this time.
Final – vs Donskoy and Donar -> Definitely the toughest match, yet not tough enough to beat us, 6/3 6/4 win, and this marks our first main tour title!

I screwed up just again, I accidentaly overwrote Nick's save , when I was already after Barcelona in 2014, I was slowly getting ready for the release of Aussie Open. Now, I don't really want to play from week 36 in 2013, where I left off, so I will simulate the rest of the season, I just hope it will be successful again :D Australian Open 2014 will maybe go out tonight.

One question to end this bit stupid post :D Does Nick have some fans here on his way to the top? :)

Thank you so so much, But it looks like I have to start again, I found out few mistakes in players ini, mainly wrong countries for few players (Klizan - stable Top 100 player playing for Slovenia and so on) and it was really annoying to play along with it for me, I have few players in mind that I want to play with, but all suggestions for players are welcomed

I know it's kinda stupid to start again and again, I hope to keep up the third try for longer time.

Small Update:

I am now playing with sweetspotscale thing, so the matches will be more realistic and there will be more errors and less winners.

That stinks that you have to start again. I hope you play with Thiem or Del Potro on your next try.
