when i open the app, its fine, but when i go into warm up or match, it just shows a black screen with the scoreboard, energy etc. but no court/players

it may mean your macOS doesn't support Metal.

Another possibility is that the engine I'm using doesn't work with Intel IGP. I'll try to gather more info about that, and tomorrow, I'll try on my Mac, whose IGP is even older than yours (it's an Intel HD 5000).

Ok, I got it, it has this message :

Platform Mac OS X 10.12.6 with device Metal is not supported, no rendering will occur

So actually I could find the root of the issue : you need macOS 10.13 at least to run the current engine.
Do you have the possibility to upgrade to it ?

Please someone tell me how to play a match. I've gotten into the "world circuit" mode and I don't see any button that lets me sign up for tournaments.
