Hi Manu
I tried the update. Players models are nice.
I found players slower, especially on the first steps. lot of inertia. not a lot of vivacity (i only tried federer though, but it looked more like isner movement).

yiph2,
I just updated the Mac version.

Nicholas,
I didn't change the inertia. If you have been playing TE2013 while waiting for a TE4 update, it might have affected your speed expectation. :)
Else, I might have corrected the animation speed which wasn't depending on the movement speed at some point, giving the illusion the player was moving faster than what he really was.

Hello, Manu.

I've been wondering since you've revealed the new male models for TE4 If there's any change to the texture mapping of the the clothing. I've been making shirts, shorts etc with the legacy texture maps for TE2013 for personal use so far and I wonder if I can still use what I've made or will I have to start over.

HallyAce,
it's not compatible, although it's not very different either, so you may be able to copy & scale your design if they are simple (ie: no shadowing in them).

chingachko,
you can see him here : viewtopic.php?p=265460#p265460

megyaem,
ouch, I had tested something & forgotten to set it back to normal...
It's fixed now, you can re-downloaded the game (no change of version, though).

Note: it's allowed to post TE4 pictures & video, but only on the forum. :)

Yes i played TE2013 a lot :)
but in my humble opinion the inertia is too much right now on TE4. Players seem too slow, even for a realistic simulation. I'm quite curious about the feedback of other players on that part.
for the rest it's very good (ball phyiscs, players, stadium, menus,...)

Nicholas,
the player speed is realistic, but it's a recurring complaint, so I have planned to give an optional boost to their initial acceleration speed. :)

good idea manu, the speed feels a bit heavy, i meant, it cost to move fast to the sides, i dont think a normal tennis player has that problem (except me since i weight almost 100kg ':D ':D ':D )
maybe you could give an acceleration if we have a defensive move ingame?

megyaem,
with 100% Speed & Tonicity, the player speed is more or less in par with world record 100-meter runners.
In TE2013, they were significantly above, giving unrealistic reach.
I'd rather not give any significant defensive boost, else defender vs defender matches might last forever... :blackeye:
