I'm sorry that the overall revenue went a little down, I don't know how to feel about that considering that TE4 sales improved a bit, Right? I hope the console ports fill your pockets!!!

I also wanted to ask, and I'm not sure if this is the right place, How do you feel about the 2 upcoming tennis games? I think it's great news, this could bring more sales of TE4 as tennis videogames are coming back, or at least that's my wishful thinking.

I still didn't read the PS doc, but AFAIR, they claimed to be cross-platform friendly now, so I have good hope it'll work as well.

1) yes, as exposed in a recent post, I'm going to switch to the PS once the Xbox one is done. I need to be done with it, and see if the game sells or not on consoles.

2) TE4 sales lowered by about 10% ; it's not surprising. I hope making the official release will help the sales (I might do it in June, before reworking the running animations).

3) One new tennis game seems almost dead on start, and the other one, we'll see how it goes, maybe it'll be good for TE, maybe it'll be bad...

Speaking of sales and console releases: Have you ever considered advertising?

I don't know how much it costs and whether that is a possibility for you. But when I was searching for a new tennis game to play the past 2 weeks the only reason I came across TE was basically because of Reddit. I specifically googled "Reddit best tennis game..." because I like to see different opinions and arguments about it.

If you just Google or YouTube something like that it rarely ever shows up amongst the usual suspects of Top Spin, Virtua Tennis, [Please don't advertize concurrent games] 2 and AO2, yet on Reddit majority were praising it.

Might be worth raising awareness.

Also question:
Since the Xbox version has achievements, will the PS version come with trophies and a platinum? If so I'm probably gonna have to buy it again

1) Yes, I'm planning to do ads once the console versions will have been released

2) I still haven't read the PS doc so I don't know what are the trophies, but I guess it's like achievements and then it's very likely a requirement to have them to release a game on PS.

I saw sales for TEM vey low. For those of you who are not playing TE4 and TEM2 together are really missing out. It makes the career experience so much more meaningful, immersive and fun!

indeed, apparently, barely no one is playing TEM2 within TE4, according to all the TEM2 Achievements being at 0% there https://steamcommunity.com/stats/760640/achievements . (although they work only since January 13th, so maybe it needs a bit more time )

Hello Manu, I am very happy that in the end your game can be launched soon on Xbox, I wish you good luck and I know you will have it.
I wanted to tell you if you have thought about implementing the vanila game for its launch on Xbox, the courts, only the surfaces of the Xkt Mod, as well as the faces of the players made by the XKT modders, I know that the names of the players have They have to be fictitious like those in the SDK mod and the courts cannot have official circuit logos, but maybe you can use the surfaces only of the entire ATP circuit without any advertising and without any official Logo. You could replace the advertisements with the logo of your game and perhaps with the XBOX logo, perhaps they could even pay you as well as other brands with which you can reach an agreement to advertise it in your game as other Sports games do. .
It's just an idea, I don't know if it's in your plans, but it would look good in the vanilla game for people who don't want to play with mods.

that would be a lot of work and installing the Mod is really easy (if the XK Team makes the Mod smaller, else right now it's not possible to install it on Xbox ), so I'd rather focus on doing things that Mods cannot accomplish, it'll be better for everyone (ie: Playstation port & better running animation)..!

Bonjour Manu, would it be possible to consider the xkt mod as a DLC for Xbox? Or perhaps create a community category and install the mod directly from the game? Thank you again for the work done, the game will be a Day One purchase for me on Xbox ☺️

I have no idea how much "nba2k25" will influence TE4 sale volumes ; and I'm not sure that it would be better to release TE4 before it instead of after it (coz people may be waiting for it right now).
