Manoo first of all thanks for explanations. About drop shot handycap I think that it can be more useful if criteria for applying that handycap is not only direction of movement but also and position on the court (close to net or far from net).

About service, I understand that percetages for 1st service are lower few percent now, but still don't understand exact role of consistency parameter. You worte in this build changelog that chaces for 2nd service performed with b1+b2 or b1 to go out are higher now in case that consistency is higher than service power, but that is opposite to the explanation in documentation that says how higher consistency than power actually rasing chances for service to be in.
Some more info about consistency would help to lot of players in choosing best stats for their players. Like comparing with service power 70% (that most players use in online fair mode) what outcome can be expected with consistency same as power (70%) and higher than power (ie 100%) in term of avg 1st service power and percentage of first service.

Ok, sorry
manutoo wrote:About Kicked Serve, I did a few tries, & it was ok. Could u tell me your serves %, ur height, and the button(s) u use ?

1st attempt: as Sandra Cecchini 1994, 1,66m, serve 62-61-64, lefty. All kicked serves from the deuce court to the side were let balls, landing in, just close to the side line.
2nd attempt: as Anke Huber 1994, 1,73m, serve 73-90-76, right-handed. All kicked serves from the adv. court to the side were let balls too but one which landed close out.
3rd attempt: as Nathalie Tauziat 1994, 1,65m, serve 43-74-76, right-handed, but this time all kick serves landed in the net (my bad timing I guess)
I use windows (as b1+b2), up and down or down and up and the side key.
I do usually have correct first serve percentage in all my matches, it's not my biggest flaw  .

i dont know anything about double its maybe bad there but in singles i like it its the best update so far since i started with this game the slice amazing animation :D and the serve is worse it gives some people disadvantage who lived alot on their serve but it also opens for tons of people who arent the best returners so they can crawl higher up on the world rankings

manutoo wrote:Stajus, I did a try in doubles (volley vs volley fights). I'm not very sure what to conclude. It's sure it's more random than before, but mainly on quick reaction volleys especially off-centered from the racket, so it feels realistic enough. If you don't stand too close from the net, it becomes much easier to control your volleys.
 Other people are welcome to give their opinion about this..:?:

Thanks, sorry I was mad lol  Anyways, I was really dominant before and now this randomness in errors makes it much harder :fear: But I kinda figured it out a bit. I still think it's a pity that more errors occur than winners now (vs Eronakold last night 21-24 errors in a single set, and we're both Top 10 in doubles :P); mostly those are errors by partners and some errors we can't really control :fear: I also noticed fire 1 often hits the net cord when the player is badly positioned with high net stats, can this be tuned to go to the net too please, instead of just tipping over the net? It's really annoying

doubles is disgusting now...simply unrealistic, unplayable, random(,) luck and even worse...
you said we must stand a bit farther from the net to volley well... but man, if we stan farther, fe the drop shot volley is landing in the bottom of the net or on our side...or the corrected old bugs came again like the smash on cpu and it shots out always. LOL
and we know, you'll not change cuz it's good for singles players...so no way you'll change but for god sake, you are making doubles the same as singles+1 cpu (who is sometimes not moving...sometimes  ) so the losers who are playing from baseline, will be the good players and real players will be the the good ones...
DO SOMETHING AGAINST THIS...
few ideas:
- back to 1.0d (no way)
- new update (not in the next few days)
- new version (no way)
- and i think it's the best now, make a separated game for doubles...
bcuz when you reduced net for singles guys you screwed up our game..
hope you'll do something

I personally enjoy doubles more now...the rallies are more realistic that's for sure. You can't win from the baseline. The errors aren't random as long as you know how to avoid them. But I'm not a top doubles player(not even very good) so I guess at this point it really makes no difference for me whatever an update does lol. I do not think things should be changed in favor of doubles at the expense of singles, there should be other solution(separate doubles functions don't sound like a very good idea, though). But overall I don't understand the very dramatic reactions, it's just somewhat different(and not unplayable), like singles play is too always after updates.

I'm still experiencing weird lag and overall slowness in matchness, I have no idea what some guys are talking about saying it's perfect. I really can't get to testing this update properly until the game speeds function like before.

I say it again...Everything is in slow motion! Just attempted to play a match but it's just dragging with everything moving slow I just can't play like that. Please undo whatever might cause this in the new update, I'm not enjoying playing at all.

Can someone try if their recorded matches work? I recorded and tried playing the replay and the game just stops working.

 i dont see slow motion in my computer.i think the version is good.i enjoy new features.doubles looks tough but if u choose stats wisely, it still works well... well i think the 1st serve% shud be made better.serving looks little difficult.especially even when i keep good serve percentage,my first serve is getting out(i m not trying risky serve..i was trying b1 safe serve but still getting out) so i had to do second serve and that too with slowest possible serve b2,even it is also getting out sometimes(but second serve seems ok).....so i just want 1st serve % to be improved a bit that is when we go for b1 serve it shud get safe almost everytime which is not quite happening now

Or so you think, playing against? Play someone really good and see how it works  And the connections are a bit better for India now cuz the high ping is smoothed out :fear: But low pings aren't as fast now, it's slow motion so often...

Hi Manu,

Another update on doubles :fear: So, after someone hits a net cord, and I try to volley the next ball in any possible way it's always an error. I think it only won't be an error if I can pick it off the ground, but that seems bizarre  Let me know what you think.

P.S. Also, too many net cords happen lol  I think these volley net cords are direct winners in singles too, so :fear:
