low speed bonus for shoulder height acceleration

Postby Guest » 14 Jun 2019, 01:57

What does this mean? And or what does big speed bonus for shoulder height acceleration mean? To me this seems to be the big difference between Power Baseliner and Counter. I'd like to understand what it means in order to see how it effects the games.

Thanks... AND I love the GAME!

Hello,

read here : Shoulder height acceleration => https://www.managames.com/tennis/doc/Te ... l#shoulder
Counter style => https://www.managames.com/tennis/doc/Te ... html#style ; his acceleration is special, it's not about the shoulder height one.

OK, this is great. So if my style is Counter and my opponent has high topspin I need to play father back from the spot of the ball drop or be on top of the spot of the ball drop. This will make my acceleration shots more effective as opposed to striking the ball when it is at a higher arch (shoulder height).

Is it also correct that for a Power Baseliner, Puncher, Varied play style that their position as it relates to the height of the ball doesn't matter or doesn't give a penalty.

Thanks for the Links!

With a Counter, against high topspin, I think you should go a bit closer of the ball bounce, but it can be hard to find the spot where you get extra power without losing too much precision due to the higher ball difficulty.

Height of the ball matter to determine the ball difficulty, which will give penalty on precision ; thus hitting a too low or too high ball will be penalizing.
