Question about doubles partners.

Does your doubles partner's skills ever increase along with yours, or do you have to 'upgrade' as you go along the game?

well manutoo one big problem is that doubles partner never hits a center volley even there is quite a easy space to hit......he always tries to hit at sides but not in center of the court very weird

Lol Teja, that really doesn't have anything to do with his Q  Anyways, are you asking about the World Tour or online doubles? I'm not sure about the World Tour, your partner's skill might be "upgrading" if you're winning stuff together, but never checked. As for online, both yours and partner's stats are fixed, but he'll play much better if you know how to play as a team 8-)
The TE's all-round and doubles GOAT
73 titles (7 S + 66 D) + Davis Cup + Team Cup
11 Grand Slam titles in doubles (out of 12 played)
Best singles ranking #3
Best doubles ranking #1
Olympics 2012 - singles bronze, doubles gold

Verdasco Fan, your double partner's skills go on like if it was not your partner. So if you see his skills are too low compared to yours, look for a new partner.

OK thanks. :D

It would be quite good if the partner's skills could 'upgrade' along with yours, then you could like, have the same partner throughout the whole career.

Have a look at the "rankperyear" in the players.ini. It gives an indication of your partner's evolution every year. Their skills remain the same throughout the year but change every new season. So, it makes sense to choose a partner whose ranking is rather low at the beginning but who is going to improve in the years to come!
