Difference Steam / Mana Version Online Multiplayer?

Postby Dragonstar » 19 Jan 2019, 09:44

I played the demo of Tennis Elbow and I am enthusiastic about it. So I want to buy a copy and I have seen that there exists a Steam and a Mana Version. I would prefer to buy the Mana version, because then all the revenue flow to the developer. With Steam only 70% of the revenue would flow to the developer.

My question is, if both versions are compatible in online multiplayer. f.e. is it possible that a player with the Mana version can play online with someone with the Steam version? Or can only play Steam users with another Steam users and Mana users with other Mana users online?

If it would be the case that the same version is necessary for online gaming, which version has the larger userbase? Steam or Mana?

Best Regards

Hello,

both versions work the same and everybody can connect with everybody.

And for the sake of clarification, when you buy from ManaGames.com through Fastspring I get 91.1% against 70% with Steam, so it's still significantly better, but a bit less than 100%... :P
