polakis,
I have no idea. If you take any GPU that advertises it can run recent games in 4K at 60fps, then it might be able to run TE4 at 90~120fps.
It also depends on how much of the crowd your camera settings is showing.
With just a bit of crowd shown, my Geforce 1060 GT can run the game at 120fps in 1440p in a singles match.

I hope so.

Sliding on clay would be incredible. I haven't seen any tennis game ever come close, and it wouldn't surprise me if TE did it first.

What I'm more concerned, for lack of a better term, about is whether we'll see sliding on grass and hard courts, ala Novak. It should only be something that one or two players in the database can do, so maybe a talent, but we have Djoko's playstyle in the game. All we need now is a replica of his movement and agility.

marantz,
maybe your firewall prevents the game to access managames.com .
In this case, just use the download link in your License Key email.

Hi, I really want to see some footage of the game. If there's someone open to share a video I'll be very grateful.

Will there be an auto updater added to the game? So it's not required to download every again every time from the web?

Manu will there be surface signs after rallies on clay etc? From the feet of the players?

Spacedeck,
yes, I hope to put the auto-updater in place within a couple of weeks. It'll be totally indispensable once the online will be there else no one will ever play online... :fear:

polakis,
I'd like to do it but I don't know if I'll ever get to it. It's not very hard to do though. (it's much easier than the water in BALLOONrain, but it's kinda the same principle :P )

Hi manutoo,

Really love the TE games, I just had a question fro some reason my laptop is having an extremely difficult time running TE4, like the FPS is quite low on the computer even when all the details are turned off and Im playing on pretty much low everything. I didn't have this issue w TE 2013 and I had an older laptop back then I have about 8 GB of RAM, so i was wondering if there is anything that is making it hard to run. Does decreasing the resolution increase speed?

Proflyer98,
as stated in the "Requirements" the 1st post, you need a GPU or at least a very good IGP to enjoy TE4 which has a lot more polygons than TE2013.
However, if you turn on the 2D Background in Video -> Advanced, that should help to achieve a decent framerate, but you may need to set the resolution to half your screen resolution if it's 1440p or higher.

What is your IGP ?

Hello Manutoo,

Do you have news about the switch version? Is it planned ?
And for Xbox, how is the project progressing?
Do you have solve the customization part (outfits, courts, animations, material...)?
If yes, will it be available between each platform,

Thank you

Guest,
I'll work on the console ports when I'll be done with the PC version.
You can follow the development in the mini-blog here : viewtopic.php?p=272006#p272006 .

Game is very decent in its current stage. A few tweaks here and there and it will be beautiful! Keep going manu! But please remember this. Make it moddable when it comes to ps5/xbox x! Its extremely important for us gamers!

polakis,
Modding has been an evident part of the success of TE2013, and by philosophy & own experience I'm deeply attached to Modding (I learned a part of my craft from Modding ID games : Doom 1 & 2, Quake 1 & 2 & 3 ).
So I will surely do everything possible to bring as much as possible modding support to the consoles.
