Manutoo, hopefully I can pre-order within the next two weeks but was just wondering, if I add the add-on to save 40% on TEM2, how is this delivered? Is it delivered DRM-free or will I recieve a Steam key? If DRM, is it also possible to get a Steam key?

you'll get a License Key for the ManaGames.com version, and you'll be able to request a free Steam key from your License Key email.

Is there a demo version yet for the Mac for TE4? Will it work well on a MacBook Pro?

no demo before the game visuals are coherent (so around the Alpha or the Early Version).
The game mostly depends on your GPU/IPG, check the 1st post for requirements.

unfortunately Apple prevents me to build the game directly from my Windows, so I have to fire up my Mac which takes time that I don't have since 1 month => viewtopic.php?p=265460#p265460 .

Plus I usually wait for feedback from Windows users when I release a new version before to publish the MacOS version, so I won't have to lose time more than once building for Mac, but no one commented the last update (which is a good sign, I guess ).

Still, I'll try to update the Mac version soon, but as I'm hoping to get the new male player there soon as well, it'll still take something like 1 week at best.

Whenever I click the update notification when I open TE 4, it gives me a download for TennisElbowManager2.exe instead of TennisElbow4.exe. Is that supposed to happen? If I run the TEM2 installer, will it actually update the TE4 stuff?

it's an issue in the 1st released version. Use the download link in your License Key email to download the latest version.

Awesome, thanks! I'm loving TE 4 so far! Question: as part of the "more realistic experience", would you consider adding those lunging animations for when players are running to retrieve the ball? Example attached. I think that would be a big step toward replicating the real thing If not, that's fine! I'm sure someone in the modding community will do it somewhere down the line.

I am very curious how new animations will affect the feel of the game, generally whole gameplay.
In general, I wonder, and I'm honestly a bit afraid of it, if some improvements will not kill "this something" in the new version of the game.
But I think it's just a fear of strangers: D

my goal is to preserve the TE spirit, and in all cases, I'll take into consideration the feedback from the users like yourself, so hopefully the result will be ok...

The Prototype is needed for 2 reasons :
- I offered people to pre-order the game, and I wanted to give them something as soon as possible, as it can be frustrating to pay money and not get anything in return before a while
- to test the new rendering engine ASAP, to check I was in the right direction (and I wasn't, so it was good to know early on )
