Merci pour ta réponse.
Dois-je l'acheter via steam uniquement, ne voyant pas le lien d'achat sur ce site? Et comment faire pour bénéficier de la remise, cela se fait-il automoatiquement par ton biais?
En te remerciant.

Hi Manutoo
sorry it's maybe not the right place to raise this question
do you have a simple process to report issues in TE4?
I did not see any link / topic related to a DB where Bugs could be logged

Previously it seems everybody just write a simple message to describe the issue but I think it would help you to assess the problem
if everybody was using a sort of "template" to provide the same level of information on the issue, such as:

#Issue title: (few words to describe the issue)
#Report date: (I guess the message date also provides the info)
#Platform Info: (as we are on PC, - RAM quantity, CPU, GPU, OS)
#Patch or release ID:
#Context: which part of the game (menu, gameplay, online, etc)
#Description: what's happened
#Periodicity: (Always, Random, 1 time in X)
#Criticality: (Low, Medium, High, Critical)
#Comments: provide extra info
#Screenshots: A picture is worth a 1000 words
#Status: (Open)

if everybody follows this basic rule, this should allow you to assess and process the issue more efficiently.

Ideally you would insert the Issue Report in you reply comment and state if it is (In progress, Closed, Cancelled) :D .

Thanks again for your fantastic work
O

titi60 & nico75,
order link is in the 1st post of this topic (ie: topic15-30551.php ), under "Pricing :".

Docbzh,
it'll likely be the clay court. Grass gameplay is too special to be the 1st one... :P

Okssannia,
there's a built-in bug report tool that does most of what you have written, and more : it sends your last saved games, plus the .dmo of your current match.
To test it, you can press the Scroll Lock key in the TEM2 demo... ;)
95% of the bugs are fixed within 24 hours of being reported, so there's no need for an issue tracker.

Manutoo, j'avais cru entendre parler d'une réduction pour les utilisateurs de TEM2.

Ai-je bien compris ? Et si oui, est-ce toujours d'actualité ?

Merci

Burned

Thank you :D
Is that an already playable version, or just a "pre-install-link"?
And, because as you know it's important for me, can we begin modding of TE4 now (anims, courts, gears…)?

And modding won't be supported before a long time.

nico75,
Modding come at end of development, not a the beginning. eg: the TE2013 outfits won't work anymore as everything is going to be redone for the new 3D players.

the Prototype will be available only to those who have or will pre-order the game.
For the 1st Alpha, it's undecided at the moment, but it'll likely be the same.
For the 2nd Alpha (or Early Version, if there's no 2nd Alpha), there might be a demo, although it's still undecided right now.

In the dev blog it is stated that it's going to be released very soon. When is it going to be decided if this upcoming 1st Alpha (August Alpha) is going to be free for all or available just to those people who have already or are going to pre-ordered the game?

I think it being free would be fair to all the people since it's going to be a really basic version, probably with some bugs and glitches and it being spread to a variety of people may just help with the development - in a way that it could speed it up and make the upcoming v1.0 much more stable in the long run. That would also help some people to decide if they want to buy it in the future. If not free for all, maybe free for the people with a TE2013 license? After all, it's just a first Alpha release and we've all been waiting so long for this game and not everyone is able to give the money right away to pre-order the game just to test out the most basic features and the looks of the game.

Thanks in advance for your reply!

yiph2,
in a long time.

king_roger21,
right now I need to actually do the game before needing people to test it.
More people playing the game now would mean more people reporting bugs & issues that would have already been reported by paid customers, or plainly wouldn't need to be reported for the moment as the game is really not done. It'd mean losing time answering these people and thus delaying even more the game.

Of course, I completely understand that part. But something could be done to sort that problem out, right? I think the fact that all the people would be able to test how the TE4 would actually look like this early would result into more pre-orders in the future too (more youtube videos, great buzz on social media etc), since the hype would just blast - finally seeing a great tennis simulation with updated graphics - even if it meant just playing warmups with generic players. If not, at least making that first alpha august release available to previous Mana Games customers would be a nice gesture.

Has it been definitely decided yet what is going to be done regarding TE4 Alpha August release? Thanks for replying. I wish you happy developing and a great TE4 run. Cheers!

king_roger21,
the game will be incomplete visually for months, so it might deter more than attract at this point. The game should be shown when it's ready ; lot of people assume that whatever they see will be the final state.
