Noumea Challenger Qualifying Rounds

Round 1

P.Serenity (USA) def (7) R.Bindi (ITA) 6/0 6/0

Round 2

C.Martinez (ESP) def P.Serenity (USA) 6/2 6/1

Well damn! After breezing through the first round of qualies and crushing the number seven seed, I got whupped in the next round. She was just too good and was crushing my first and second serves. So after this Princess Serenity did some serve work to increase her serve power to 43. Hopefully she'll do better in the next tournament! Her ranking is now 385 and now she has to compete in a futures tournament. She is the top seed so lets see if she can bring home a title!!!

Second Tournament: Germany F2

BREAKING NEWS: Princess Serenity has withdrawn from the tournament Santiago Challenger. Her reason: SHE HATES THE CLAY!! She cruised through the first two rounds before announcing this bombshell. As of now, she has decided to not play any tournaments on clay until her skills are better. She will only play Tier 1 events on clay and the French Open.

Next Tournamnet: Burnie Challenger

Round 2
P.Serenity (USA) def (6) O.Blahotova (CZE) 6/0 6/0

Quarterfinals
P.Serenity (USA) def A.Voina (DEU) 6/1 6/1

Semifinals
P.Serenity (USA) def C.Horiatopoulos (AUS) 6/2 6/2

Finals
(Q) C.Schaul (LUX) def P.Serenity (USA) 6/1 6/2

Well after a two week break from tournaments and some much needed training on her power game, Princess Serenity made it all the way to the final before being crushed. But because she made it to the final, the tournament director of Belgrade Challenger has offered a wild card. She gladly accepted this wild card invitation because a good run here will finally allow her to participate in Tier III/IV events! Princess is very upset that she lost so badly to a qualifier only ranked 400 something. With her big ego and extremely self confident attitude, despite not knowing how the draw will turn out, Princess Serenity has pledged to win Belgrade. Other players on the tour laugh at this statement, but will Princess Serenity be the one with the last laugh???

Well congrats to Princess Serenity on winning the Belgrade Challenger. She said she would win this tournament and she did! She is quickly rising up the rankings and is slowly becoming a force to be reckoned with. Since she started her career she has only lost 3 matches. Can she keep up the victories as a wild card in her first Tier III/IV tournament in Memphis? We shall all find out very soon!

This is what Princess Serenity said about her victory in Belgrade and playing in her first Tier III/IV event: " Last week I said I would win Belgrade and that is exactly what I did. I came, I saw, and I conquered. I came to this tournament, I saw the draw, and I conquered. I have to give credit to the finalist Conchita Martinez Granados for putting on a great show with me. She beat me when we played before, but I was just the better player today. I have to admit, the match was alot tougher then what the score says, but I LOVE a revenge match! My motto is go hard or go home! I went hard and everyone else went home. As for playing in Memphis, I am very excited and I know I must step my game up because the competion will be alot better. My form is far from where I want it to be so my goal is to make it to at least the quarters. Hopefully I'll play some of the players I have great respect for in the game. Until then I will probably do some more power, speed, stamina, and precision work. Mostly power. In Memphis I will just have to play the Serenity way and hope to do well. See you in Memphis!!!

Memphis

Round 1
(WC) P.Serenity (USA) def A.Goni (ESP) 6/2 6/2

Round 2
(WC) P.Serenity (USA) def (6) S.Kleinova (CZE) 6/2 6/3

Quarterfinals
(3) S.Williams (USA) def (WC) P.Serenity (USA) 6/0 6/1

Well Princess made it all the way to the quarters of Memphis before being annihilated by the number 3 seed Serena Williams. Princess knew she wasn't going to win this match because her skills aren't quite up there yet. She is just glad she made it to the quarters and moved up in the rankings.

Pincess Serenity after match interview
Q: Well Princess, how do you feel making it to the quarterfinals of Memphis, your first Tier III event?
A: I feel great! That was my goal from the beginning and I'm glad I accomplished it.

Q: How did you feel playing against Serena Williams, such a powerful player?
A: I was nervous but who wouldn't be. She's an excellent player and I'm glad she's apart of the US fed cup team with me.

Q: What can you improve upon in your game in order to become a top player?
A: My serve, forehand, backhand, speed....everything.

Q: Do you consider yourself cocky or confident?
A: Confident and I just play my game..why?

Q: Most would say you have attitude, appear to be cocky. and talk the talk but don't walk the walk...do you agree?
A: No..I said I would win Belgrade and I did....I said I would make it to the quarters here and I did...and now I would like to make it to the quarters in my next tournament Doha.

Q:What is your next tournament?
A: I said Doha...who taught you how to be a journalist?

Q: Excuse me?
A: Whoever taught you how to be a journalist should of taught you how to listen. You have a good day sir.

Next tournament: Doha
