Player 1 auto serve positioning vs AI

Postby Andy Anderson » 21 Oct 2017, 07:21

Is there a way to turn off the auto-positioning (or re-positioning) of player 1 vs. the AI when player 1 is serving?

Hello,

sorry, I'm not sure to understand. Your issue is that on serve the game positions your player at his previous serve position ? What are you doing to be annoyed by this..?

Not annoyed. And am not doing anything special. At my 1st serve I choose a serve position. If I miss that 1st serve, the game automatically chooses a 2nd serve position--usually farther from the center line, or closer to the center line for the 2nd serve if I start the 1st serve farther from the center line. Can this auto action be stopped? The same thing happens with the return position. I choose a position to return, and if the server misses their 1st serve, the return position for the 2nd serve sometimes stands way back from the baseline. I do not "do" it. I then have to move the player back to where I want to return from. If this is the way it is, I can live with it. If it can be changed, I would like to know that.

The game saves & restores your lateral position on serve, , at the time you hit the ball, for each serve : 1st/2nd, and left/right.
For the return, it saves & restores your depth position against 1st & 2nd serve, at the time the server hits the ball.

There's no way to turn off that.
