HELLO! MANUTOO :salute:
SINCE THE NEW VERSION, MY PATCH ON TENNIS ELBOW 2013 1.0j OPERATES VERY STABLE CONTINUALLY AT 144 FPS IN V-SYNC OFF.

Everybody,
patch& demo updated with 2 fixes :
- Replay :Ball & its shadow were de-doubled during replay
- Rendering : Ball was teleporting right at the beginning of each point & each 2nd serve
No change of version.

My fps with vsync-off = stable 144FPS. Vsync-off - ofcourse 60. So, fps cant be under.. But seems like bit delayed (player bit sticky), not so quickly like with vsync-off
When frame changing, or after hit racket. but not much.. little and not always. Maybe my screen coz locked on 60hz.

Micro flickers in offline also. Looks like chars bit shakes, jerky, when moved, run, etc (most noticeably during servr enimation, before ball tossing - racket is shaking, little bit, like 1px around). But with vsync-off most, when on - seems less..

Upd
Even more, looks like ball bit flicker also. I think this because 144 fps on my 60 screen, but not sure..
About fps, now fps locked at 142.9, but after point down to 109.9. Its ok?

ok, if your monitor has a refresh rate of 60hz, game will look more smooth with VSync on. If you really want to play with VSync off, you can try to add this line in your Tennis.ini (or your Profile's .ini if you have created one), under [3dEngine]
MaxFps = 60

If the fps goes down a bit at end of point, it's ok. When playing online, game contacts the server, so it can produce lower fps for one instant.

I check it, it adds fragmentation picture.. vertical shifts. Anyway thank u, much troubles gone!

a couple of new problems. During the online match, if not at the time to press the replay, or chat, the animations dont stop but continue to move (for example, animation of the preparation for the serve, but at the same time is faster than usual and looks cycle terrible, weird)

Hi, I installed the last version (2017.09.03) ,I have lags that have appeared in the menu and my player moves much less quickly when I play online. This problem only occurs on the ITST mod, I tested the Vanilla TE and everything seems to works well.

I specify that I use windows 7, maybe this is the cause of the problem?

I reinstalled v 1.0i and it works better. Thank you for your help in advance. (sorry for my bad english).

I couldn't reproduce the issue with the chat nor the replay. I changed a little thing & updated the game, let me know if it got better for you or not.

I fixed that bug :
- The alternate time polling method wasn't working anymore ; if you had activated it (by changing TimePolling from 0 to 1 in your Tennis.ini), it is however strongly recommended to come back to the standard time polling method as the alternate one isn't accurate enough for the smoother rendering to work correctly

No change of version.

had you turned on the alternate time polling method ? (by changing TimePolling from 0 to 1 in your Tennis.ini)
If yes, I found out it was now bugged & I fixed it so you can download the demo or the patch again, but it is however strongly recommended to come back to the standard time polling method as the alternate one isn't accurate enough for the smoother rendering to work correctly.

No change of version.

Since a patch 1-2 day ago, i got 2 crashes (in the last 2 days) after swapping to other window..
Error message:
some like - program met a unhandled exception, log in system.log

Honestly I never saw this issue before..

I changed the timepolling but it didn't solve my problem. I will stay for the moment on version 1.0i which seems more stable. Thanks for your help.

this crash has unfortunately been there for a very long time ; it happens mostly when using Exclusive Fullscreen Mode (in Video settings) ; to avoid it, it's better to switch to Fullscreen Window, although in that case V-Sync might be forced on.

Since I was among the first ones to segnale bugs for this build, I wanna tell you that I've just had the time to test an online match since then and, smoothness wise, the game is ok. You also solved the "show info on errors" bug.

Sometimes I got the "142.9" fps cap like erik says, but I think it's something you can solve with a reboot. With the 142.9 cap also comes with some fps jitter when the camera moves - that's why erik noticed it at each point's ending/beginning. Other than that, I still have to do further online testing, to see if a reboot solves the fps jitter too. As now, after a reboot, I'm able to get steady 144 fps in offline mode, so I'll let you know if it'll work for online too.

the 142.9 might be just a calculation problem. If you have Fraps or NVidia drivers, turn on the Fps counter and check if it's really 142.9 or actually still 144.
In next update, the fps counter will be using the new timing method.
