Hello,
I installed just the patch and I saw a few problems in game. I know that you didn't make that problems, but I want to tell you what happens in my game now.
1. Before I start the first point, I see in one moment dark court and then normal court (it blinks).
2. Player's shadow stays on position from where I start the point, even when I am moving my player.
3. My player changes FH and BH animations random in one point (or he just plays with longer preparation and with strange moves)
4. I see that opponent disappears from one place and appear on other place.

I am playing with my own mod, so after I saw this strange things, I removed mod and it doesn't help at all. Then I installed whole version and I didn't insert the mod (vanila version), but the problem still exist. Just it doesn't blink before I start the first point. Also I tried older (1.0i) version and it works fine. I don't know how to fix this, should I change something or not.. I really don't know. Please help.

I tried the new patch, and I'm having some problems:
- despite fps are stable at 144.0, I have a strong screen tearing, and the result is a way less fluid gameplay than before. It just doesn't seem OK;
- even with v-sync turned on, a small tearing is still there. Additionally, putting v-sync on now causes a huge input lag, almost 500ms I think;
- the "show info on error" isn't working anymore.

I have Windows 7 and my computer can easily handle TE at 144 fps. My screen has a refresh rate of 60 Hz, so screen tearing when playing at a higher framerate is normal, but the one I experienced was just unbearable. I played other games at 200+ fps and didn't have similar problems. Anyway, I use ITST mod, but I don't think any of the problems I faced are related to mods.

EDIT: tried with a fresh install of unmodded TE, and I still got all the 3 problems.

Sorry to tell you such a sad news but right now, this new update just focked up the game, its stuttering like never before. I have Win7 just FYI.

I rolled back to the v1.0i . You still can download the patch if you want to try the v1.0j.

I had tested only at 100 & 120hz and it was working fine. I just tested at 60hz and it's an hellish nightmare...

144hz works correctly on my setup though (Asus Monitor @144hz + NVidia 1060GT).

3. I don't know, I didn't change anything in settings, but still I can see a maximum of 60 frame per seconds (FPS) if you mean on that. I don't know how to change number of hz. Maybe my player doesn't change animations, but he plays very strange even FH or BH.
4. Yes, it happens just online. Offline it is ok at least. But other things don't work offline, too.

Yeah, who had a 144hz told me the game was fine, but I guess the majority of us owns a 60hz screen.

Anyway, is there still a plan to increase refresh rate? Or it has just been abandoned?

Pffff, the smoothing code for the rendering of the players had a big bug.

The good news is that it forced me to get a deep look at the timing code, and I found out it was not working very well (it seems it was working better 10 years ago before Microsoft changed some stuff in their compilers ), so I found a new way to time things that should work smoother on all PCs, especially when they have been running more than 10 hours since their last reboot.

I updated the patch (but not the demo), so if you can test & let me know if everything is ok or not, it'd be nice...

can you try to dl & install the patch again and tell me if it works ok now for all your issues ? (black screen at start might still be there because I couldn't reproduce that issue on my PC)

Offline it seems everything is fine, but online everything is same as before. I can't show you anything except this https://prnt.sc/geoz2k because dmo match doesn't show this problems, but asap I'll record a few points and I will send you.
PS: This shadow from picture blinks all the time.

I played two points with Mido Nadal, and on this link you will see something like slow-motion. It is due to video recorder. Don't worry, it is not that slow and we had no lag like on video, but look at my opponent, and you will see something strange with his movement.

ok, the online prediction engine must be creating some issue with the rendering smoothing. I'll look into that this morning.

Hmm, It's still a bit jerky here and there. It's much improved than the first 'J' build but still could do with tweaking. I use a laptop so it's 60hz I'm using.
I have just rolled back to v1.0i for now.

Does the shadow work in offline matches now..?

It was blinking a wee bit as the player bounces the ball before serve.
