slice shot

Postby Brad1981 » 08 Dec 2009, 05:26

I think the slice shot has too much spin when hit at perfect level, especially slice volleys. They should go through the court more. But in the game, they kinda stop abruptly, like hitting a wall or something. This mostly happens when I hit a slice volley. But I notice it much more when the computer hits slice volleys or when i hit a slower shot, and the CPU reacts with a slice shot. A lot of the time it has too much slice and seems unrealistic coz it doesn't go through the court more.

I agree!

Sometimes, CPU hit a slice shot that goes very through the court, and its volley bounces very very low, while my slice shot goes very very high... I also can say that drop shot should be a little more effective, especially against CPU.

I may be wrong, but it seems like when I play against the CPU on Pro level 10 the CPU's volleys are mostly very weak or short...very hard to anticipate or react to in time to hit an effective passing shot... :?

A lot of times I don't get to the volleys in time to do anything...
I'm sure that I need to work more on my reactions and forward movement...but still...

Maybe they're actually drop volleys...or so they seem... :?:

I seem to notice that when I play against Master level that the volleys are mostly more accelerated or struck more firmly from the CPU...
