TE and Ubuntu Linux

Postby jesp8000 » 13 Nov 2009, 03:09

Hello Manutoo, I just tried to install TE2009 using Wine in my Ubuntu Linux, it successfully installed and manage to run until the point where my player will serve, but I cannot see any players at all. They are invisible but I can see the ball. And after about a minute, error appears. Do you have any idea if TE will run in Ubuntu Linux?

Hello,

TE2009 engine uses ID3DXSkinMesh for the players, which I guess isn't supported by Wine (or at least, not entirely)...

TE2006 has been reported working on Linux, though (maybe by you..? :P )
