Hello, I have some questions about the ranking in the game. I want to know how these things will work in the game.

1. Wawrinka's highest rank is 3, but from 2014 to 2015 he didn't finish the season with number 3 ranking, he finished at 4 in the end of those seasons. So if I set his highest rank to 3, it means that at some points in those seasons he will reach number 3, right? Or does he stay at the number 4 ranking until the end of the season?

2. I read the HowToMod file but still doesn't quite understand the bonus. For examples Djokovic finished the 2015 and 2016 seasons at number 1 in the world, but his level of play in 2015 is higher than his level in 2016, he also much more dominant in 2015 compare to 2016 or any other seasons that he finished at number 1 ranking. So If I give for examples 0.5 bonus to his rank in 2015, does it makes his attributes and skills higher than 2016? Or do you have any parameters to adjust it?

1)

These skills are not normalized : "Concentration", "ColdBlood", "Constancy", "Motivation".
Instead, they are interpolated between the value in the base (when rank is on BestRank) to half of the base value (when at the 1000th rank).
Example :
ColdBlood = 78
with :
BestRank = 3
When RankPerYear is 3, then ColdBlood will be 78%; if RankPerYear is 1000, then ColdBlood will be 78 / 2 = 39% .

BestRank isn't used for other stuff.

2) eg: for 2015, set rank to 1.05 ; for 2016, to 1.0

Thank you for the quick replies. I fully understand how the skills and attributes work for each players depend on their ranks. What I want to ask is for examples: In 2014, Wawrinka won AO and became the world no 3, however he finished the season at world no 4.

In the game, his best rank is no 3, but rank per year at 2014 is 4. So at some weeks in the 2014 seasons will he reach no 3? Or will he just stay at the number 4 ranking?

Rank during the game depends of chance and other player performances (like in real life), so nothing is set in stone.

Another way to look at it : if Wawrinka has RankPerYear of 4, and no one else in the game has a RankPerYear better than 10, then Wawrinka will finish the year number 1.
