ManuTOO,
Maybe the problem is that you don't play online much. So, maybe you don't experience these things, and that could be why you don't think that they are an issue. You have guys using lag switches and other things to make it so that you can't do sufficient accelerations without an error, so you have to use slice or rely on the "normal shot" not producing an error. Besides, it still is not realistic to have these types of shots. I guess you want the game to be more easier for new players and everyone (even in simulation mode) than realistic. If that's the case, just be clear about it and, I will quit expecting the game to be realistic ever.
Yeah, lots of players using lag and swapping applications to make it hard to move. If you played online some, maybe under another name, you could experience it. It makes then game not enjoyable, as it is too hard to move to get into position for an accelerated winner. Then, they serve, and they don't use the lag cheat, and they can serve aces unless the returner focuses and is pretty good. Please don't say it doesn't happen or it is my computer until you play with some of these people.
Sorry, forgot to respond about the "other shot(s)." Yeah, I maybe I notice mainly the shot that clips the net that you refer to, but as you mentioned, I guess some lobs maybe were changed. My point is that shots that are maybe realistic in that that could happen are taken out because you think they are too hard (so new players who could use arcade controls but instead use simulation controls can have easy shots and not have to learn how to play properly). And, the accerlated slice is there (but maybe because it is too hard for you too remove, which some mentioned). I guess either the game is going to be easy to play with others online or it is going to be realistic. I guess it is good that games like Medal of Honor weren't designed that way, or my nephew wouldn't cream me every time we play.
Another problem is nothing to do with you or your game creation skills, which I think are both excellent (you and your skills overall). It is not common to be able to talk to the designer of your favorite game. Wow. Quite remarkable, really. So, maybe I say some things that with most games I would never have the chance to say (I would just have to accept that this is the way that it is and get used to it). But this game keeps evolving, and I think that some of that evolution is from feedback that you receive from us (we who play the game). I hope my none of my comments are too harsh, and if they seem that way or are, I'm sorry. Please don't take them personally.
