The accuracy of short accelerations

Postby Jambavan » 16 Feb 2016, 06:20

As a preface, I must say I really enjoy Tennis Elbow 2013, and want to thank its creators for making something so entertaining.

I have recently started incorporating more short strikes in my game because I want to vary the angles more. But despite having stats above 90 in all the categories on both forehand and backhand, my short strikes frequently miss very long. Am I simply mistiming my strike, or is pressing the 'up' button causing me to push the shot long?

If it is a problem with timing the pressing of the 'up' button, is there a good way to map the short acceleration strike to another button altogether? I see on the menu for remapping strikes that there are options for "Fire 4" through "Fire 9" but don't know what they do. Can they be used for this? Or will I otherwise have to mod the game?

Edit: Sorry for asking this, this thread can be deleted. I managed to figure it out; I was simply being obtuse.

Hello,

my guess is that you were standing too much inside the Danger Zone... ;)
