Well, i thought, in world tour, the human players can join a tournament every week without any problem. Cpu players, like in real life, they skip some weeks for rest/preparation, and in this weeks they can't win ranking points.
In this way, the human player can move up quite easily in the rankings because he have no limit to play, and at the end of the season he will have played a lot of tournaments more than all other cpu players. So, what about an addition like "season stamina"?
Three ideas:
-We could establish a "tournament inscriptions limit", like 30 tournaments in a season, the number of the players who plays more than 30 tournaments in a year is really low. Obviously, the player can play more than 30 tours too, simply with a stamina decreasement. The more the players go out of this 30 tours limit, the more he will be tired.
-Establish a "matches played" limit, maybe more balanced for players who often lose in first rounds, with a mechanism similar to the previous tournament limit, just counting the number of the matches instead of the tournaments.
-Last option in my mind, give this penalty every week to the players (cpu or human) that reach a specific round in a tournament, just a bit for quarterfinals, medium for semifinals and max for finalists, and this penalty must vanish at the end of the next week. An example: i play a tour in week 1 and i made a semifinal, in week 2 i play another tournament and i start with a medium penalty - in this week 2 i reach quarterfinals, if i play a third tour in week 3 the stamina penalty of week 1 vanish, i will have "just" the penalty for the qf reached in week 2. Obviously if i completely rest an entire week, the player return fully healthy.
The penalty could affect just skills like physical (speed and stamina), precision shots skills, and net presence.
What do u think about it?
