Another great update sir. One complaint. The computer has started hitting too many dropshots again.

nothing changed about CPU dropshot rate (except maybe when volleying) ; it mainly depends of the way you play, so it can change a lot from 1 match to the next one.

It seems that with this update, all my saved games became Invalid. Did I make a mistake, or have others the same problem?
It would be nice to know that your games will be Invalid before you apply an update...

I guess you installed a Mod, because official updates never invalid the saved games without a clear announcement.
Reinstall your Mod and you should be ok.

Thanks for the answer, and for the confirmation that saved games will normally not be invalidated.

I do not use any mods. The only thing I changed was correcting the Players.XXX.Ini files, like adding 2HBH (Marc Rosset, for example), or setting up the double Macs as their favourite double partners.

you probably modified their playing years as well.
If you installed the latest version only 1 time, then look for "Data\Players-LastUsed.ini" ; it should be your modified Players, and you can replace the current Players.ini with it.

Is there a thread where mistakes in the Players.XXX.Ini can be reported? The most common mistake is missing 2HBH information.

You can upgrade from any old version to the newest by downloading it from OP.
