I really don't know how to serve consistently, I read the instructions but they are very unclear - just "The service is executed with the same method than the other shots..." Given that there is no serving range with a movement cursor showing your serve point in real time (like you do with actual shots with the preview system) there is just no way to know what the technique is, for example people tell me that you press the shot button twice during serve, once to toss and the again to hit, whereas others tell me to just hold the shot button down, doesn't make any sense. Secondly when do you press the direction? When the ball is at its highest just before or after or when the player actually makes contact with the ball? I have tried all these methods and all are inconsistent - often I press just a little bit to the side and the ball goes well wide. I really can't find a consistent method of serving, and on top of this I don't know how to place a shot without power.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

do you have to press twice for the normal shots ? No.
Is it told to press twice anywhere in the doc ? No.

"The service is executed with the same method than the other shots" means exactly that, don't overthink it..!

So how is the power generated by holding the button down longer? And again at what point do I move the cursor for direction? At the point of contact?

On normal strikes, do you give left/right direction only when the ball touches the racket..? No.

Plus on normal strikes, you don't charge power by charging longer (with the exception of the Shoulder Height Acceleration).

Serve speed is random.
