Well I just installed it so I haven't tried it much, but I must say I love the new strike animations!

i don't understand htis game. one day i play good, the other my balls are not deep, i do errors, no power...

now with 80% in serve i can serve at 215km/h but it seems slower than before with 195, i can't get that!

well I haven't downloaded it yet but I don't like that demo users have less time to play their online matches and that the time limit is reseted now after rematch(even if it was a bug, it was a good one lol). Gotta wait for it to be downloaded and try the other things, that seems to be nice though

It will be pretty impossible to play longer matches for tournaments now as we'd have to keep on remaking match score all the time... :fear:

now the only thing I dislike is the new time limit but definitely I love this game, the new anims makes the game a lot better than it was before, plus the simulated match time and stroke counter are great :applause:

Who the hell has developed the idiotic idea of removing the lag-restriction on serve power? It's just IMPOSSIBLE to return these serves(considering you've reduced running speed too...)!

Manu, I can't download this new version, I downloaded it but it says in the top of the screen "1.0a", and in credits it says "Build 33, 2009-4-13" :?

What can I do?

It say there is an error opening file writing when I try to install it so I ignore the error and now I can't get online. But the rest of the game seems to have installed.

I quite like this new build. The serves are good, I think there should be some aces, unlike before when there were hardly any with players that could return. I LOVE the option to cancel ELO penalties. The new serve animation's pretty cool too, though I disagree with all the people who are saying it's Roddick's--looks more like Sharapova to me. The only thing I miss is not being able to charge up topspin. Oh well, that is more realistic anyway.

Well , I have to say that I like most things in this latest update ( new animations , to cancel elo penalities ...etc)
The only thing I hate is the service , it's too powerful , pls Manu 60% is suffisent , we don't need to have so a great power
other thing , u said u'll make the Top spin weaker , not to retire it complitely , I watched the match of Nadal yesterday and The previous Topspin was more realistic especially for defend players .

Well I think I like the build, it's very interesting, and quite dramatic change for the game, so it will take time to get the hang of it.
The serve is nice with 80% on clay, but I think on faster surfaces it will be a pain, because even at 60% there were quite a lot of aces on fast surfaces(even if you're a good returner). We'll see.
I must say I will miss the topspin "charge" effect, however I think it's more realistic this way, because you could hit enormous topspin with 0% topspin and only by being a defender, now you actually have to have spin% to hit big spin. So I think it's better.
One huge thing I noticed: It seems, I'm not sure, that the other set of animations (oh fh 2/2, oh bh 2/2) are more powerful than the 1/2 versions. Call me crazy but I really noticed a major difference. With my opponent using 2/2 anims and me with 1/2 I felt constantly under pressure, unable to dominate, and when I switched to 2/2 anims it felt much more even.
