After installation, launch of game, setting advanced options to On, selecting of my regular profile, selection of Warm-up, I encountered Bug 539, to which I clicked OK and received the image below:

This update is not good for me. It won't take my profiles, and it is very slow. Can't use it at all yet. I am not sure what to do. I will first reboot and go from there.

I rebooted, but that did not help. Now, it still is not loading the effects of my profiles, as there is only one player in a warm-up match (not two), and he doesn't look like my player at all:

I made a new profile from the default profile, and at the bottom of the new profile's .ini file is this:
------------------------------
[Champion01]
Loser = 0
LoserNum = 0
...lines deleted...
WinnerP = 0
...blank lines deleted...
[]
= 0
 = 0
8 = 0
ô = 0
------------------------------

That took at while, but I can now play again. I copied and pasted sections from a backup that I had made of my main profile into the new profile that I created from the Default profile. Even though the new <new profile>.ini file has that gibberish at the bottom, it does seem to work so far. I've not tested the World Tour yet. Hopefully, I did not lose anything there. Oh, I did get the Bug 531 more times when trying to switch profiles using my old profiles that were working fine before the update.

The additional gestures are great, and the drop shot can still go out a bit, but it certainly is not as fast as before. I look forward to testing this more later. Thanks!!

Edit: I'm sorry to have posted negative things so far. I thought that maybe others would have experienced the issues that I encountered right after the update, but so far it seems that this happened only to me. Oh well. I've had problems with my profiles from time to time, and I never understand why they become "corrupt." When I view them in Notepad after something like this has happened, I find pieces of them in the wrong places (inserted into the wrong sections). So...I don't know. But at least I was able to get around these issues.

manutoo wrote:- World Tour : now, in windowed mode, if you exit the game by clicking on the top-right cross, where you are in a menu without the "Exit" button, then the game won't be saved anymore, instead of saving a corrupted state (so you'll lose all progress made since the last automatically saved game) ; this bug has been incorrectly reported as fixed in the previous build

I don't understand Manu. I usually exit the game by clicking on the top-right cross when I'm in-game, not in the menu. What will happen if I do this right now?

I am now happy with the low and medium volleys. Much more realistic.

3 things:
1. The gestures randomly switch and do the wrong ones, as in when I lose a point it does one of the gestures for winning the point
2. The gesture for I was just lucky looks more like waving "hi" to me. I think the player should raise his hand higher, like above his head.
3. I'm not too happy with the volleys being as effective as they are, but I suppose that they'll stay like that anyway.

It may be a false perception, but the CPU player seems much more difficult to beat in this version. I was beating her fairly easily and selecting the option to have her a bit stronger next time, and so on. Now, she gets to balls that before were winners to me, and she seems to hit much harder. Again, it may just be the way that it has always been, but it seems different. It is fine, just very challenging. I like the way that the let happens now more; I had only seen this a few times before on my serve and when playing World Tour against Karlovic (Dr. Ivo :twisted: ).

@CC :
I don't have much idea what went wrong with the profiles... :?

The CPU isn't any stronger, except for the serve-volley + low & medium volleys.

@Santiago92 :
exiting during the match still saves the match like before...

@Togtdyalttai :
1- I assume it was happening only online, if so, it should be corrected in the new update
2- tuned
3- yup, it'll stay that way... The CPU at net was way to easy to beat compared to his performances on the baseline... And I got enough complain of too slow low volleys... ;)
