With the pathetic TWT and [Please don't advertize concurrent games] ps4. Tennis elbow for ps4 is being talked about everywhere, Manutoo is it a realistic target for you guys to get in the licensed players and everything on the ps4? Secondly have any of these big companies contacted you for any advice on how it should be done?

mr2299ali,
read here => viewtopic.php?p=252056#p252056 .

And there's no "s" at "guy", I'm alone... ;)
So no, it's not possible to get licensed players for a small Indie like me. Everything else will hopefully finds its way to PS4, but not before many years.

Read this article on gamebusiness : interactive-gaming-ventures-partners-with-epic-games-to-source-unreal-engine-4-titles-for-investment-portfolio
This is exactly what you need.

- Money improve the quality of your next projects : you can hire experts to improve the arts, the UX, the balance of the singleplayer/multiplayer experience, the 3D etc, domains in which you're obviously not an expert.
We all know how TE2013, without mods, is really far from being a top tennis game for instance... It's not just about the anims, it's about the balance, the realism and the physics (which are are clearly better on ITST mod for instance). Your technical scope isn't enough to build the perfect tennis game alone. You can't at the same time improve the graphics, the content and the engine... You need other experts with you!

- Money accelerate the development time : a 15 guys team work faster than a 1 guy + 2-3 freelancers who're not really focused...

- Money increase the awareness of your projects : TE is unkown in Asia, America... Goldmine markets!

- Money improve your work-life balance and provide you with a team to rely on. You have a family, it's crazy to work alone mentally speaking on such ambitious and complex projects.

At this point, TE4 should be an AA game (not AAA though) with a million+ dollars budget. You cannot release alone a PS4, Switch, Xbox version, within the next 2-3 years, in such a context, let's be serious... Millions of gamers are waiting for a decent tennis game on consoles and the PC market is ridiculous for sports games.

The players who supported you for the last 5-10 years and the whole community need you to become more ambitious. Start with part-time team of 10-15 specialist around you, and see how it works. I bet we would see huge advancements every months.

AntiManutoo,
let's suppose I'd want to manage a 15-person team (spoiler alert: I don't :blackeye: ), this would take me so much time that I'd be barely able to work on the game. And I'm the only one on this planet to be able to bring the new stuff it needs. Even if I gave some of my simpler coding tasks to other people, it'd take them at least 10 times more time than me to do them, as they'd have to dig into unknown strange code.

Little notes :
- TE Physics isn't moddable
- I won't create any 3D content by myself, I'm not an artist ; even in TE3, I didn't create a single 3D object (IIRC) (I had to re-skin the 3D male player, though, coz the freelance who did it was a noob  ) ; I only did the menus in 2D, and for TE4 a freelance already did the base menu design (unfortunately, it let me do the finishing and some more :fear: )
- it's very complicated to find skilled people, it's a huge process in itself

Everybody,
here some new stadiums, with the lighting & post-processing done at 60%.
It starts to look pretty nice like this, I hope you'll agree with me ! :blackeye:

Looks really good. Coming together nicely. :applause:
Is there any chance night matches will be possible, without modding?

v.williams,
there's approximately 100% chance we'll get night session in TE4... ;)

Constitucion,
yes, so it'll still be possible to play with very old PCs, and old Mods will be relatively easily converted to TE4.

I can see which arena you are trying to replicate.
The IW one can it be maybe a bit wider ? The real counterpart is very wide indeed. Same goes for Philippe Chatrier

Lucian86,
the courts are deliberately smaller than their real counterpart to keep the existing TE touch and to create something unique.
