What about a mid match saving option in Training Club matches. Sometimes you just want to play a match for fun, and take a break and continue it later.

- I think it would be a good idea to change 3D stadiums textures: In the mods if we want to have some logos they are reversed on the right hand side because of the mirroring. Is it possibke to have one bigger texture file which would be used for the whole stadium?

- Shots suggestion: some past champions' shots (Hewitt, Edberg, Agassi, Becker...) could add to the variety of the game

- For small tournaments we could have "club courts" with fence, almost no seats, and two guys only watching at the match

The volley style might be a little bit too extreme...I mean, if someone is a full blown volleyer it's pretty much impossible to break them unless you get incredibly lucky. Of course the trade off is that they have weak baseline games so it's quite easy to hold serve. But it isn't very much fun to play a volleyer like this because you know you can't break them no matter how quickly you react and they don't offer much challenge in your serve games. So as I said it's two(2) extremes that aren't very fun, the playing is too mechanical. Imo even with the highest volley skills you should have more ways to pass the opponent than now, and also the volleyer shouldn't be required to make their baseline game be that bad for good volleys.

In short, think just little tweaks and it's better, for example if the returner reacts fast, the volleyer has to react fast too in order not to get passed. Now with the high volley skills you can be quite lazy. And in return give the high end volleyers better baseline games.

Adding: With high end volleys I mean something like volleyer style+100% in all volley skills, that's when the problems start happening. Otherwise volleys seem fine

There should be some offline simulation of the 117 delay because:

It is required for tournaments(unfortunately)

Offline is a totally different game so practicing in it doesn't help much

I can't host games due to a game bug so I can't create games with 117 delay

There are good "anonymous" players who I can join but none play 117 delay ever

I don't want to beg people on msn to play with me in 117 delay plus even if I do it's just 1 or 2 sets per 2 days at most on average. Which doesn't make me feel any more comfortable in that horrible 117 delay LOL

i'll quote myself :)

Elias wrote:i have to agree, i play merely only with this setting online, and have a great experience. In my opinion Elite Controls is the main setting wich makes TE a very good sim (yes, the best one) :)
Sim controls when reaching a decent level leads to unreal rallies with easy hard strikes from any corner of the court / position. Elite is way more demanding position wise and brings more ue's and you have to work out your winners harder.

I think it should be a good guess to merge controls settings with fair/realistic skills settings, to create the game modes, like :

- arcade mode = arcade controls + average/fast autopos (based on offline char choice) + free skillset
- balanced mode (or whatever it should be called) = sim controls + average autopos + fair or realistic skillset (keep only realistic imo)
- Sim mode = elite controls + low/average autopos (based on offline char choice) + realistic skillset + *disabled helpers on both sides* (forced in sim mode and as a
toggle option in balanced mode).

this would also avoid players joining being confused by elite controls when they didnt checked the room icons options in the lobby.

i think also competitions should be played on sim settings (elite controls) as it brings clearly a deeper gameplay and more skill brackets provided the extended controls mastery required. I still could see some 2000+ rated player moving/hitting almost as consistently in elite control mode than in sim control mode, but not that much players can do it and it's a good thing, it means two things : 1/ it's possible 2/ it's (more) difficult to reach that level = it's a (more) competitive setting & field.

my 2 cents :)

Tennis elbow 2011 will be a great game when everyone has the same skills and strength in ONLINE MODE because the difference is very high...opponents hitting a winner after giving a perfect shot, almost every time!

And that will be a fair game to every player with no discussion after losing in ONLINE MODE!

Also another problem will be fixed =>>>>>>Many players break up their match when for example 0-4 down and what about the ELO penalty????? Wayyyy too small...

When every online player(yes, only online) has the same settings for their player I will bet that there are much much players go on with playing and not give up their match because it's equal for both.

I'm sorry not to be a troll or anything but this just doesn't make any sense at all, there will always be a difference from player to player and people can't be equally good. Also elo doesn't really matter in terms of how good you are.

I guess you mean the character sheet but that hardly makes any sense either, I think you need to explain yourself better and not make everybody think about your post
