I agree, thats what I thought even before. Actually running fast backward in should turn the body completely of halfway depending on situation. Sometimes the lower body turn completly while upper body is just halfway while looking at the ball. I know these will mean new animations for Manutoo but it would be nice if be considered. :D

Is it possible to create a setting that allows my player and CPU player to hit a strong shot no matter what? No weak shots, light hits. I like to modify the forehand and backhand precision, but when I do this, if it is much different from power, the result is that it is harder to hit a strong shot, especially for CPU player.

Also, can we get a new hairstyle for women? A braid ponytail would be cool.

movement- playes sometimes feel as if they are sliding on the court on the run.
feel as if there is no friction. you could also change the animation when your player is on the full run and stops feels as if there is a delay. it is hard to explain. but i wonder if anyone knows what i am talking about. just feels like the players are on floating on the court. i like the free movement it just feels limited when trying to get your player moving when the point starts to pick up.

Can have the option to remove the umbrellas?
Maybe have a dedicated Nadal-shot button?
Option to shift the Still camera view to the left/right, in order to give the feel of a slight/moderate diagonal camera angle. (I am able to accomplish this to a degree by using the Constant Zoom camera, but it moves around too much).

I think the game needs to implement more touch-sensitivity. It will add an additional level of realism. The game is getting a little boring (after playing for sooo long), and I was wondering why. And I think it has to do with not having enough touch-sensitivity on shots (other than topspin). TE 2006 had more touch-sensitive effect I think. In TE2011, it's just too easy to hit shots. I think a little more "work" should be involved, such as having to hold down the button longer to get more power, spin effect, depending on the shot.

yep and u get more power holding down the button tho u have to count the incoming speed with and the spin is like that even tho there are max limits on both

I know what you are saying and I agree. More practice helps, but the limitations in movement are real. I thought everybody just got used to playing this way, because that's the way the game is programmed. The player movement is more skating than "floating" and this may be unavoidable. I have had the question about programming simulated friction in other games. For me, when I anticipate the shot and get there (drop shot from CPU for example), the racket has to go through a full swing preparation instead of being brought into position (for short swing) to scoop the ball before it bounces twice. It's suppose to be a challenge but does not match my thinking or reaction time (most of the time). The player also seems to jump up or hop first (preparation for first stride forward) before starting a run, then skating before full acceleration to get to the ball. Of course, I do not know the difficulty of programing this. These limitations may be what makes the game. Mtrun changes these limitations, but is too fast and unrealistic--though I'm good at it. Movement within a scale from regular speed (which I have almost maxed) and mtrun might be interesting if it can used in online play also. Still a fun game.

Hey Manu

How about an option to have the TE player be responsible for moving and positioning his/her player to the proper side of the court to return serve...instead of having the sprite magically "pop up" automatically?

As it is now, we can already "move" our player to the correct court, but the player takes the position of where he was previously returning serve in that particular court...only then do we get to place him where we want him...

What I'm proposing is just like in "real" tennis, where if you don't keep score and actually move to the correct court (deuce/add) yourself you would lose the point...

Maybe this could be implemented only at the higher difficulty levels for those who are familiar with the game, but rank beginners to the game of tennis could have the option of automatically having ther players "placed" for them...

It might add a little more "realism" as well as concentration to the game...

i think its crazy to see line serves in 2nd serve...in real tennis no one can really produce them on consistent basis.however returning on 2nd serve is also killing a bit.players hit back at 150 kmph XD...on 2nd serve the ball shud have topspin and it shud fall well inside the lines(atleast 3/5 times and also returners shud hit them back at a max of 145kmph mostly,150 is just killing) then it wud be gud for server as well as returner.its what 99% of players do in real tennis.i mean rallies come into play.but i see even on second serve some guys hit line serves(may be with slow b2 serve) but still ball falling on line always is not realistic(especially slice serves just touch line always :annoyed: ) i think the ball shud fall well inside on most occasions.please try to change it.

i dont know how hard this would be to do, but add a feature that allows you to buy players, just as tennis elbow manager does, so you play as them aswell or instead of the player you create? Another similar suggestion would be instead of the create a player to start a game, choose one of the players already in the rankings to play as on the tour?
