True, but in real life it's also pretty uncommon seeing a player sending back 10+ accelerations, in TE it's common practice, therefore you are both right :P

Lucian86,
in 2008, when developing TE2009, 16:10 monitors were totally dominating the market. As 16:10 is a much better ratio for working, surfing, writing, etc..., than 16:9, I thought it'd stay like that, so I paid an artist to extend the 4:3 courts only to 16:10 and not to 16:9. 2 years later, I was proved wrong, the 16:10 were almost gone and the 16:9 were everywhere . Why, oh why ? They were cheaper (coz less pixels), the bastards... :blackeye:

Don't worry manu, i'm part of the few that still have a 2009 monitor of 1440x900 pixels (16:10 ratio) ':D
But that isn't truth (16:9<16:10 in pixels) because a 1440x900 monitor has around the half of pixels of a 1920x1080 one...

I wouldn't have asked the question if I didn't have a 16:9 notebook :) I think it's better to change again since I see videos of TE of guys playing 16:9 anyway (which looks not right since the game it's 16:10).
There are less pixels in 16:9 monitor because they are smaller. That's just it. It doesn't change the densitity of a pixel and the image quality overall. It's just a different proportion.

Lucian86 (& Nigogu)
standard 16:9 resolution = 1920 * 1080 ; standard 16:10 resolution = 1920 * 1200 ; => 10% less pixels for 16:9 (it's basic mathematics ;) ).
Anyway, I'll see if I can add an 16:9 option for 2D courts for v1.0e (it'll work only for newly created court by used that will use that 16:9 ratio).

I already use a 16:9 court and use a little trick to play on 16:9 ...

Hallo Manutoo,

I've been playing Tennis manager (TEM) for a long time and only recently picked up Tennis Elbow ( bought is a year ago but didn't play much)

The biggest thing i hate is the way the calender works in TE. I really like how you can plan out the whole season in TEM and then go forward week by week. Any chance you would be able to implement that into TE?

There are other features in TEM that would be nice is TE (coach/sponsors) but i understand that you won't do that ( even though it would be fantastic

Good luck!

Erik Holland,
no, it'll stay like that as it's much easier to handle for the average user.

LasVenturasTO13,
maybe for next version, but you can add some by yourself (almost) easily...

I think that gameplay is so real, and there no need for some big changes. Of course there a couple things which can be changed. But I think there more place for changes in career mode. I think there will be more fun if TE have some features od TEM.
1) When you start career you could have starting budget
2) It's not so funny when you have money, but you have not be abble to use that money, so there could be coaches of many type. For example : 1.Coach(main coach) 2.Serve and Volley coach(who brings you every week 5% XP of your Serve and Volley abillity) 3. Physiotherapist(for stamina and speed), 4.Baseline coach(for the Forehand and bachand) 5. Sparing partner(for xp points which you can use as you wish) I probably forgot someone.
3)Then you have to pay taxes and costs of travel.
4)The injuries is the part of tennis. There'll be more fun if we can get injury. With more matches in short time the chance to get injury is bigger.
There is a still many things about career mode which can be add, from the TEM. But here is some gameplay things which can be change for more realistic game.
1) I think that animations is so important, if you have Nadal's forehand you can't to play many flat strokes, if you have one-handed beckhand you can't play topspin strokes with big deep. When I got this game I was installed some patch, so I never have been play original TE 13, and I don't know Is there posture animations, but if there is that animations, they is very, very important for return.
2) This is something about short stamina, I noticed that short stamina is connected with numbor of acc, but in real life, it's not more important number of acc then how many meters you ran.

Please don't ignore me (sorry for bad english)

Also something I was forgot, It's not so real if players like Federer, Novak, Rafa play almost every week. For example in August Federer had 5 ATP 250 titles and 2 ATP 500 titles.
