I looked for this information in the documentation and in the forum, but I did not find it. When does the World Tour start? For example, I am playing now during week 27, 2008. I'd not really noticed the date until now. Did the game start at Week 1, 2008 by default? Is there any control of this without adversely affecting my career, etc.? Would it be possible to be playing in 2009, or would this be a bad idea? The weeks go by so quickly that I will probably soon be in 2009, anyway. I was just trying to understand more about how this works.

by default, u start on Week 52 of 2007 (equivalent to beginning of 2008).

When you start a new game, u can choose to start from 1990 to 2009.

And of course, u cannot change the date while playing, there's no DeLorean in TE...
