Long : it's funny, but I think I recall a certain guy named "testo" who just a couple of weeks ago was pretending that the slice was not strong enough, and treated me like an incompetent liar when I tried to explain to him it was not the case, and now, how surprising, it seems that same guy is coming to complain that the slice is too powerful... How can it be ..? (yeah, I know, I'm a very very bad person, making fun of the poor user )

Bonus comment : Testo, you're playing this game since a long time, and you do only B1+B2 passings..? You should know by now that to pass a volleyer, you have to use mostly the short strike or the short acceleration, else it's normal that the volleyer "catches all ball" (which is even not the case, as you managed to pass him a few times with your accelerations)

PS : Short acc are not easy to do in this conditions. You should know that to succeed a good short acc, you must be very well positionned and take enough time to prepare...

=> "not strong enough" ? Could you get this message ? i just said the rebound is too high and this shot is unuseful (topic15-18137.php)

1) not useful = not strong enough = not efficient enough = not powerful enough (it's not about ball speed)...

2) If I had put the -15km/h speed handicap on acceleration against sliced balls like you asked, you'd have been yelling to death non-stop that you had absolutely 0 chance to do anything against the slice based net rushes of your opponent ; that's why you have about 0 credibility now

3) Neja didn't return from "just behind the serve line" ; he was on the baseline, or 1~1.5 meters behind it (except maybe against some slower 2nd serves)

4) you also said many many times that the slice was producing too much errors, and now you complain it's possible to return 200km/h serves from the baseline with it ; that's why you have about 0 credibility now

5) about incompetent, your words implied I didn't manage correctly the suggestions people were giving to me by refusing to listen to them (or acknowledge them)

6) So globally, I'm getting tired of your contradicting complaints, their direction depending of the way you had lost on that day...

You've some patience there Manutoo! I didn't realise that 'testo' was that moaner 'Seb' ? It's like that 'JasonBourne' chap on the other thread, i didn't realise that he used to be called yasinozkan: The same guy who made those purple/green/blue tennis balls for this game, until i'd seen an old thread of mine. These bloody user name changes are confusing me! BTW.. I am very easily confused....

I have a good news & a bad news !
The good : Neja wasn't using B2 slice, but the safe strike with slice, which I had already planned to modify a bit, mainly by lowering its slice effect as right now it's a bit too low & short
The bad : the nerf won't be enough to let you beat him only with the regular acceleration, you'll have to learn how & when to use the short acceleration as well

Bro, i am probably one of the best at the net. If I say I am THE best then that's overconfidence and I don't mean to say it. Because with practice anyone can achieve such level or may be there are such players already in this game. I feel like there are very less volleyers in this game because all i generally see are baseliners and defenders. You can top the game if you become stronger at net(just be special try something different than others) . I began playing this game being a volleyer. Its not a big deal whom i am playing!When i am at the net, the point is generally mine no matter how good my opponent is at the baseline....beaten 3000+elo players 6-0 with such game, so stop complaining...The problem is most of the times, my opponents get nervous when i rush to the net. They don't plan properly to play a good shot and i use this weakness to my advantage. I am very good at baseline too. So its probably more hard for them and they just rush to hit acceleration after acceleration. Anyways FYI even short balls won't effect me because my eyes are always on the ball and i also guess based on player's movement of where he is gonna hit. Been volleying since ages............GOTTA BE GOOD AT IT
P.S. WALL at net Manutoo modified safe shot slice but I think I can still handle it better. The ball bounce is high on safe shot slice return(bad for volleyer) and thus giving me more time to come to net(good for volleyer). Even if he modifies back to safe slice short return it's hard for my opponents to hit the ball with more precision(good for volleyer) but it also gives me less time to come to net(bad for volleyer). There are pros and cons on every modified thing and i just build my game based on it

Yeah i am Te"Neja" To be honest, just try to do same with those volley stats. It's lot harder to volley than you think. You might think it's cheating but look it takes years of practice. Most of the times i anticipate depending on ball movement. I just had to return from inside the box. Normally i change return stance depending on opponents shots But clearly i felt comfortable returning you even from inside the box. Also testo you hit many predictable shots bro. So it made my job easier...
Manutoo please don't make life harder for volleyers by listening to these comments. It's already damn hard
