Consistency vs Precision vs ERRORS (in ground strokes)

Postby Guest » 02 Jun 2014, 22:35

Hi there,
I have read the documentation in detail about Consistency and Precision in ground strokes, but there's one thing I don't understand. Neither of them seem to explain random errors. For example, a computer player should be able to miss an easy ball, even if they have lots of time. According to the documentation, neither consistency nor precision would increase/decrease the likelihood of this type of error. How can this be edited then? How can you create a player who can hit very good shots but sometimes miss badly for no apparent reason? Many many players on the pro tour play like this, and it seems it should definitely be part of either consistency or precision.

Thank you!

Hello,

you can't directly do that. The best way is to lower precision, it'll create more errors, without lowering too much the quality of CPU game.

I feel like random green errors are relevant to this topic as well (being hit by humans not CPU), so can I know what controls such random errors , as it happens quite often especially when you return the serve with b1 . Thanks.

Yeah, this is boring and annoying...and shouldn't happen so much with b1.

Nadi madi,
green error = didn't prepare long enough, or aimed too much to left/right
