When the game is complete, will the crowd move their heads to watch the ball as in TE2006?

Would it be possible to somehow capture a segment of a CPU match as a challenge -- maybe a particular point -- such that a player could either try it again and maybe use a new strategy, or possibly share the code for this with another player and let them try it? What I mean is, sometimes when playing the CPU, the human player can be in a certain situation trying to get out of it and trying to find a winner, and it may take several tries to do this. If there were some way to restart that point at a particular stage, then the player could keep trying until they learned how to overcome that situation and score a winner or at least keep the CPU from winning the point. Also, if the game could do this, then it should also be possible to share the file that would contain that data (player positions, ball position, skills, etc.) so that another player could upload it and put themselves in that same situation to maybe try to master it.

I don't know whether or not there is a way with the full version to save a match in the sense of being able to replay visually more than one point of a match, but there is software available free for Windows that will capture video to an AVI file, so that people could share some parts of their matches if they wanted to. They would just start the capture of the video, stop the recording when appropriate, and upload the file somewhere. With a fast enough computer, this should be possible.

Manutoo,

I'm sending to you my system.log file and some .ini files. The CPU player will not do anything but hit the ball the first time in Warm-up, the sounds are strange (very dull), and also in match, the CPU takes a very long time to serve at the start, and then will only server (just stands there after that).

@World Tour Testers :
Version updated (but no new build number, it's still 13) :
- can go to Main Draw when got qualified (maybe the problem was only when playing both singles & doubles at same time, I'm not sure about this one :roll:)
- Volley FH & BH stats corrected
- Texture for Sunglasses added

@vaidisova :
Thanks to ur description, I got the bug, so it should be ok now...
But you should have said u lost in Doubles Qualies R1, or Q1, coz at 1st, I thought u lost in Doubles R1 of the final draw...

@CC :
>> White Mario
It might be a bug... :?
Maybe coz either u or Mario plays with an older custom profile not containing the new information about Hat & Sunglasses...

>> restart that point at a particular stage
It's an interesting idea, but I won't do it right away... ;)

I should add the possibility to save the whole match replay since long time, but still didn't find the energy to do it (mainly coz saved replays won't work anymore every time I'll change something in the game engine :? )

>> I'm sending to you my system.log file and some .ini files
Still didn't get them so far...

@Y7 :
Sorry, I think I have enough testers for right now...
Did u already buy TE2006 or TEM..?

@PattySchnyder :
I spent a lot of time to finish TEM last year, and then a lot of time to do updates 1.0a, 1.0b & 1.0c ... And now I'm working on TE2009... But hopefully, I'll do TEM 1.0d within 2 months...

Manutoo, i checked about the ball bouncing sound of TE2006 as you said. i can hear the bouncing when the ball was hit but when you are preparing to serve, the sound is off.

is this normal?

Hello Manu,

If you still need some help to beta testing TE2009, i'll be glad.

Of course, i have TE2006 and TEM.

I just play the beta 3 yesterday, i haven't play TE2009 since the very first version because of computer problems and i must say it is very good. Can't wait to see the final version :)

Good Work !

I think i'll reverse to french in my next mesage, my english is really rusty ^^

@vaidisova :
>> in TE2006, when you are preparing to serve, the sound is off
Yes, it's normal.

>> problem with fastest serves & "swap ends"
I just looked into that, and fixed both of them, so it should be ok next time I'll update the version on the website.

@Aldecius :
U got a PM..!

@Tom Paulman :
U got a PM as well..!

@Serena_Fan :
I cannot change the shape of the racket, but I can add some textures ( = new painting) easily if u show me the pictures of the rackets u want...

@CC :
I finally got ur email with a lot of delay, and just got the new one u sent.
I looked and the 2nd player is on Human control, not CPU, that's why he doesn't play..! ;)

Tscott415, can u send me your current saved game (compressed in .Rar or .zip) ?
It should be in : "C:\Program Files\Tennis Elbow 2009\Profiles\Default\WT_Current.Sav", or in the "Wta" subfolder if u play with women.
