I think this would be a great approach for a slice shot and we would use much more using it in situations when people have actually plenty of time to charge, while on the other hand it would not be so effective while we defending from back of the court.

hmmm well yeah short slice....I play deep slices when i am in good position even when i dont want to, because i think with good position depth increases in this game. But what u said is quite true, may be there shud be a special button for short slice. Because with better position a player should hit any shot, not just deep..... I think ur opinion on short slice is quite true :yes:

This is an interesting idea because tennis players use that shorter slice, but what if I want hit a deep slice in a perfect balanced situation ? The slice you mentioned could be done with a combo, that way we can hit the slice of our liking.

Ive also noticed something since I created colored balls so I can see the ball spinning; the ball doesn't always spin which is weird (I mean in an ok balanced position), to make it spin properly you need a ton of chargetime which isn't likely for a slice so I think fastening the charge for the slice could solve that.

yasino, how can u hit a short slice from a balanced position?.....i think only way is to strike the ball on the last sec and also u should be close to ball to do it....which is a unbalanced position! I think manutoo should create one more control for short slice so that we can hit it from balanced position with time in our hands and not hit in last sec. If u can deep slice with more time then why not short slice? that is what i think it should be in the game to make it even more realistic :)

n 201,
there's a short slice combo : slice -> drop shot -> slice.

i have to hit three buttons to get that. Why? can u put that in control options into one control so i will keep fire 5 "a new key" to hit short slice. Then i need just one key to get short slice. Hitting slice+dropshot+slice is lot of time and in rally i dont enough time to do all that. I need a seperate key for short slice just like topspin shot. Then i will assign the key that i want to use to play it.
There is "short strike", "short acceleration".....but no "short slice" in controls...Please include it :sweat:
