Switching from PC to Mac

Postby aarondmsu » 18 Jul 2013, 23:16

Apologies if asked and answered and apologies for my virtual computer illiteracy compared to you hackers, but I was wondering if it is possible to switch to Mac from PC and use my same profile, career, settings, data file and all that jazz on the Mac. My PC is going blooey and I'd like to switch to Mac but I'm several years into a fun career and I'd hate to have to start over now.

Also, for Mac players, how is the game on Mac? Any discernible differences from the PC version?

I don't know anything about Mac TE, but if you can find ''Profiles'' folder, just copy it, there is the savefile of your career. And paste it in the same place in your PC.

PS: You have to install EXACTLY the same mod you were playing in PC (ignore this if you play in an un-modded game)

The only thing I've modded was to change the names of the Slams.

aarondmsu,
like Nigogu said + re-select your Profile if you created one.

Mac version is slightly less optimized than Windows version, but if your Mac isn't more than 5 years old, you shouldn't notice anything... ;)
