Best spin percentage to still hit winners ?

Postby campa100anni » 22 May 2013, 00:16

When i have enough of career mode and i just want to have fun for one match or two i always pick some existing players and make some grand slam final just to have fun for a while. But when I play with Nadal I almost can't hit any winners, especially against Djokovic. That is because Nadal's top spin is too high, i think 100%, and so the ball goes really deep in the cort but, at the same time, too slow for djokovic not being able to take it and hit it back. I would like to play with nadal and make the australian open 2012 final revenge against nole but like this im gonna hit 3 or 4 winners in the whole game. what is the percentage of spin that i should give to nadal to make his shots a bit faster and more "winners"? When you play with Nadal, do you set his topspin at 100% or what?

Hello,

I put 60%, for me, the best. Try. :)
Best Grand Slam results: Australian Open R16 '11, '12
Best results: 's-Hertogenbosch final '11, Belgrade semifinal '11

I use different spin for different surface.
About 35% for clay, 25% for synthetic, 15% for fast hard, 10% for grass and indoor
Of course I am a powerful baseliner who likes to attack a lot, but my point here is that you should adjust your spin according to the surface you are playing on.
