Level and settings: What's yours ?

Postby Reindeer » 21 May 2013, 18:58

Hello everyone,

I am playing TE with Sampatch for a year now and I am now in my third season.

During my first season, I was playing Pro-7-10 with full assists (preview, positioning...)

In my second season, I switched to Master 10 and I kept the assists but I change to elite controls.
But I had the feeling that my games were only about a battle of powerful hits to the corners.

Now in my third season, I tried something new. I reduce the level to Pro 10 but removed all the assists.
Now I really have the impression to play a "real" game because my shots are less powerful and less accurate and the games more balanced.

And what about you ? what are your settings ?

It looks many people use this config :)
Is the most realistic difficulty, and graphics, because with previews looks a little bit unrealistic ;)
Kind regards. :jap:

Incredible 1, Simulation, and no asists or previews.
Stats around 2000
ATP

A bit unrealisitic indeed because your opponents has an average first serve speed of 210kmh+
But I love challenging game :)

I started to play TE 2 weeks ago (i know the game for several years but RG 2013 convinced me :) ) I'm in my first season with the Sam's patch and i'm increasing difficulty bit per bit in order to keep enjoying it.

I'm Junior 8-9 for the moment with service+rally assists.
I don't like to play with the danger zone (maybe because i was used to not have it many years ago with Mario Tennis and Mario Power tennis :p)

I think the matches are enough challenge for me at the moment. Not too difficult, not too easy. i prefer lose 6/7 instead of 0/6 :)

Anyway, i'm still far away from you guys.
Keep rockin'

I still can't find a level. Pro 10 No assist and previews is a little bit easy even in elite mode because AI isn't very precise in it's serve and attack, on the other hand on master level especially against top 10 players you can finish a set with 1-2 winners because AI runs everywhere..

Just got the game the other day, playing with dilima's megapatch. I'm completely new to this game, only played the demo for a few hours before purchasing so bear that in mind. Currently I play for Junior sub level 1-2 full assistant, I getting mashed when i try to play Pro Level 1. It wasnt fun. I use the mouse for controlling, it's the only way I can at least play without getting frustrated . Please be aware of that i am not english, so i am type hope you understand this.

No assists, no previews

Control = Harder than Elite = Balldiffscale = 1,8 (in my opinion , the game is more realistic)

Skill: High Junior or Low Pro (because it looks like the end of 80s or the beginning of 90s = my favorite age)
