Hello guys, I'm back !

Danispadi, starting from around the 100th place is a big challenge, you'll probably be trashed in your first tournaments, I hope you're prepared and you will continue despite this, lol.

Krish4971, I definitively love your career ! Starting in 2004 is a good way to have some variety in the opposition, whereas in 2014, there's isn't so much of it. And you compete with Federer at his best :)

Rafa15, have you finished RG yet ?

So back to my career, after the US Open, the race was :
Djokovic 10330
Nadal 10190

I played Beijing, and for an ATP500, it hadn't been very easy to win ! I was down one set and a break against Gasquet (4/6 6/2 6/2) in R2, and F.Lopez served for the match in quarters (6/3 3/6 7/6). Strangely the semi vs Berdych (6/2 6/3) and the final vs Ferrer (6/2 7/6) were like a walk in the park.

I was surprised to see Nadal not playing Shanghai ! I managed to capture the title by beating Nishikori in the 1/2 and Murray in the final, to nearly secure the #1 ATP Ranking :)

The Japanese man played a perfect deciding set in Bercy to get me out of the last MS1000 of the season in quarterfinal (6/4 3/6 6/0). However, he helped me by beating Nadal in the final (7/6 6/3).

So, before the opening of the last tournament of the year, I was 1000 pts away from the Spaniard. I'd only to win 3 matches if Nadal had finished the WTF unbeaten.

Group A : Djokovic/Murray/Wawrinka/Fognini
Group B : Nadal/Federer/Nishikori/Anderson

Well, I was very lucky, the only 3 players which give me a hard time were in the other group !
6 little sets further, I reached the semifinal and definitively secured the #1 ATP Ranking :)
Nadal beated me for the sixth time in a row (4/6 6/1 6/4) in the last match of the year, and won his first Masters title.

Final results of 2014
Australian Open : Nadal d. Djokovic
French Open : Nadal d. Djokovic
Wimbledon : Djokovic d. Murray
Us Open : Djokovic d. Anderson

WTF London : Nadal d. Djokovic

I also won a couple of MS1000, Nadal captured 4 of them, the last three went to Federer, Wawrinka and Nishikori.

Let 2015 begin !

Re: Write your career results here!

Postby danispadi » 05 Mar 2015, 18:52

so, here we are: Brisbane International.
The first match is a total DISASTER: I did too many Unforced Errors, but also Canas were very strong at the baseline. The first set is a bagel: 6-0 :( but in the first game of the second set, I played very well and Canas had to improve his game to win that game after 24 points (and a break point)! That destroyed me, and I lose other 3 games; under 0-6 0-4 i won my first game, and then I lost the other 2 D: 0-6 1-6, what a start... maybe ZuutCoke was right, but i don't give up!
P.S. Canas lost in R2 3-6 4-6 by Andy Murray (He defeated also nole in semis 6-3 6-3)

Second stop: the slam Down Under!!
First match against Jiri Vanek, no.96 of the world. I thought that it would be a very tiring match, and it was like that. I won the first set 6-4 (I was down 1-2 with break) and lost the second 7-4 in the Tiebreak (I was down 3-5*; then I was *6-5 and he broke me :(). Now we are 4-4 in the third... hope i can win my first match!!

ZuutCoke, only 2 things:
1. I love your carreer :D
2. Please, tell me how could Fabio Fognini be in the WTF draw... O.o

You missed me ? I am back !! So i've start where i've finished last time. Won Hertogenbosch (had only 1 tough match - the final 6/2 4/6 6/4). And now i am into wimbledon. Beat J.Blake in the first round 6/3 6/3 6/3 , then had very even match with Dodig ... 6/4 6/4 6/4 - 3 Identical sets :D i broke him in the 10th game in each set. Now i play vs Berlocq 3/6 6/3 currently , and if i beat him i get.. TSONGA from the top 8 players :D , The easyest so this is a very easy draw. I can easily go to 1/4 finals where i must play djoko / ferrer. I am currently 9th seeded and 10th in the World (berdych is not on Wimby). Playing pro 8 elite controls , First Year ( you can check back on the pages , i've uploaded a lots of episodes :D). Sorry for the delay

Danispadi: Good luck with your career

Hi there (again XD)!
Well, I were 6-4 6-7(4) 4-4 in R1 match at Australian Open... and I won the match!! I close 6-4 the third and win 7-5 a tough 4th set. In the R2, against a well-build no. 14 Nieminen, i made a mistake while I was stopping the game, and I retired from the match ':D (I was down 4-0 40-AD*)

I also play doubles: My partner is Yen-Hsun Lu (no.88) from Taiwan, and we won our 1st match toghether 6-0 6-2 against prico/Beck (no. 33 and 55); now we're playing against Sebastien Grosjean and Fabrice Santoro... we'll see!

iopzzza, great to see you again ;)

Re: Write your career results here!

Danispadi : Fognini captured 2 titles (Vina del Mar and Rotterdam) and made 2 great performances in GS (semifinal in Roland Garros, and quarterfinal in Us Open), so he managed to take the last ticket for the WTF, just ahead of Dimitrov, Ferrer, Cilic and Raonic lol.

So I take the opportunity to bring a little update : I've started 2015 with the Australian Open (where I reached the final in 2014, and was beaten by Rafa).

The first week was a slaughter : Nishikori had to retired on R1, same for Cilic and Wawrinka on R2 (seems like some virus had decimated the players down under lol), Murray had lost to Gasquet in R4 (8/6 in the fifth set :D), and, last but not least, the good news for me, Nadal have been kicked out on R3 by David Goffin (7/6 6/7 6/3 1/6 6/3) !!

I've made through this first week without any problem : two random guys, then Tsonga on R3 (6/7 6/1 6/4 6/3).
After that, I've destroyed Monfils (6/1 6/0 6/3) and I'd a very tough first set against Dimitrov in quarterfinal (7/5 6/2 6/4).

Let's take a look at the semifinals of this Australian Open : Djokovic/Federer and Ferrer/Raonic

The Swiss is one of the 4 guys who'd beaten me in 2014 (with Nadal, Wawrinka and Nishikori), he still has amazing stats in this 2015 season, especially his forehand's.

Well i thought it will be another 1/4 final , but it wasnt to be :( i've lost to gulbis in round of 1/16... 6/4 5/7 6/3 3/6 2/6. So not bad for first year (my stats are not great) on pro 8 elite i've made semi's of austrlaian open , quarter of garros and 4th round at wimby . Now i play at the atp 500 event Hamburg , got Gulbis in 1st round :D . Also i've reached my career high ranking of 8th. The guys Who beat me constantly - Federer, Murray, Djoko, Nadal, Wawrinka , Del Potro are infront of me of course . Tsonga is 7-th.
Also i am 6-th in The Race to Atp Finals. In front of me are Del Potro , Fed, Murray, DJoko, Nadal :D. Only Wawrinka is behind me.

Postby danispadi » 07 Mar 2015, 16:28

Here I am with my carreer.
The doubles match against the team Grosjean/Santoro was very tough, and from 1-1 there were 8 breaks in-a-row.... so 5 all and next, w went to the tiebreak. The start was a disaster: 0-5!! But we start to play better and we did 4 consecutive points; then, they close the set with 2 winners: 6-7(5). Actually, there wasn’t a 2nd set: they dominate it in just 23 minutes: 6-7(4) 0-6.
P.S. Do you remember Canas?? By qualifier, he did 4th round also beating Ljubicic (no.5) in straight sets.

The next tournament is Sao Paulo, 1st tournament on clay. Good start with a qualifier 6-2 6-0; in R2 I played against a Brazilian, Flavio Saretta, n 102: the match was very tough, and it was a fight! He broke me on 1-2 and he flew on 2-5, I cancel 3 set balls on 3-5 0-40* and I broke him with 5 consecutive points, but he broke again me without leaving a point for a 4-6. In the second set, I was up by a break for 3 times (3-2, 4-3, 5-4) and he broke me immediately every time. We went at the tiebreak, and I played an INCREDIBLE tiebreak, flying on 6-1 fast; then, I close 7-3 with a forehand winner. In the final set, he started playing very aggressive and it surprised me a lot; he went 5-0 and he served for the match. I tried to play more aggressive and I win a couple of games, but then he won the match 6-4 6-7(3) 6-2.
Now I will go into the main draw of Marseille ATP250; I will play against the 8th seed, the home-player Florent Serra (no. 65).
The first set was very tough with a lot of break points; I win It 6-4 after saving a break point on 5-4 30-40. In the second set he went 2-0, then I broke him, but he broke me again (8 breaks on 12 games O.o). He started to play a safe first serve on the line on every point, to do serve & volley and to play aggressive with his best shot, the forehand. He won easily the set 6-1.
Now, we are starting the final set: who will win?? Stay tuned to know that!

iopzza, is gulbis so strong?? Hope you'll trash it in Hamburg :D

iopzza, i play with sam patch too :D
unfortunally, something happen on my pc and the game is totally reset; if I made some changes (like changing the language ecc.) and then close the game and the foulder, if I re-open the game, the changes aren't saved! So i'm going to re-download Sam Patch and restart my carreer :(

Re: Write your career results here!

Postby iopzzza » 07 Mar 2015, 19:11

I understand... Anyway i beat Gulbis 6/0 4/6 6/4... he is so unpredictable . First set he played like garbage , in the second he led me 3 or 4-0 i forgot. THe third set was test of nerves , i've saved 2 break points , the he saved 6 (yeah 6 ...). And finally i broke him , i dont know how in the last game of his serve. I've lost to robredo in 2-nd round 2-6 2-6. Thought about to retire , he is unbeliavable i dont know how to beat him :D i am 0-3 now against him.

EDIT : I've decided to play in Citi Open , cause i 've played in 2 atp 500 only as of now . THis will be my third , and the 4-th i plan to be after Us Open (i hope the game is set up like real life :P, and additional than 6 best others doesnt count). FIrst round vs delbonis , easy match i hope :D

Re: Write your career results here!

Postby iopzzza » 11 Mar 2015, 19:21

I am here again!! I've played an almost perfect Citi Open. Beat Delbonis in the first round 6-1 6-3 , then had 2 tough matches . First against Vasek Pospisil 7/5 6/3 , and against F.Mayer 7/6 7/5 (it was very tough really). Then i played Ferrer in the semi's . Broke him for 3-1 , and almost won the set , but he rebroke me and the won the set in tie-break :( (3)6-7 , and then i've lost the second set 1/6. The other finalist was Gasquet, so... if i had beaten ferrer that would very like to be my first atp 500 title , but ... i will have to wait :(. I've Played the first tournament from the US swing - Montreal - 1st Round BYE , 2nd against Vasek Pospisil , beat him again 7/5 6/3. Then Chardy tested my skills , but lost 4/6 2/6.. aaand i just saw an oportunity to make my second masters semifinal (again against murray) , but it wasnt to be ... Haas beat me this time.6/3 6/3. I am in Cincinati now . Just won my first match against Paire 7/6 6/4 (1st round bye) and in third round i play against Fognini. Then Gulbis/Del Potro , so my chances arent great... but i will do my best. If i somehow beat del potor/ gulbis i will get Murray/Berdych (i want berdych to lose to murray). My goal is to finish in top 8 and from now on to be in the top 8 seeds for the big tournaments. Also i want to qualify for the world tour finals. The race to atp finals is this:
1. Del Potro 7330 (played 3 slam finals , won AO and WIM , lost in RG final to Fed)
2. Nadal 4850
3. Murray 4780
4. Djokovic 4690
5. Federer 3800
6. ME 3410
7. Haas 3310
8. Gasquest 3040
9. Wawrinka 2540
10. Berdych 2410 (11 Ferrer. 2265) ,
So almost for sure i am playing the finals , but still wawrinka and berdych arent really far, especially if berdych beat murray now and somehow make final or win the masters and then play a good Us open. Wawrinka is also tough , but i will try my best. THE ATP RANKINGS ARE:
1. Djokovic 11305
2. Del Potro 9455
3. Murray 8835
4. Federer 7225
5. Nadal 7110
6. Wawrinka 4210
7. Tsonga 3795
8. Berdych 3765
9. ME 3761 :D
10. Ferer 3465 (11. Haas 3335) . So its really close , for sure the TOp 5 Wont change ,but they are better than the rest, they've won every masters and slam this years :D (excluding MOnte Carlo , where some of them where injured and raonic won it beating murray in the final.) . It will be a fight between 7 - 11 place. I want to finish 7 or 8 (or 6 if possible , but it will be very hard). Sorry for the long post !

Good post iopzzza ! Amazing season for Del Potro, which one is it ? 2013 ? 2014 ?
I'm curious to know who eliminated Nadal in RG lol :D

I've just finished my Australian Open ! Remember, I was in the semi final against the Maestro, aka Roger Federer.
So, he took a better start, by leading 4/1, I managed to break back, and won the set 7/6 (3).
Unbelievable 2nd set, Roger was on a cloud (like in Dubai 2 weeks ago) : 5/0 ! And I've made the impossible comeback to win the set 7/6 (7), saving 4 set points on the way.
Same scenario on the third set, Roger broke the first (4/1), but this time he won the tie break 7/6 (7), saving a match point !
4th set was insane, it rained winners on both sides, and the Swiss made a crucial double fault at 5/5 in the tie break, and I found a way to conclude at match point n°4 !

Statistics : Djokovic d. Federer 7/6 (5), 7/6 (7), 6/7 (7), 7/6 (5)
Djokovic : 95 W, 72 UE, 186 points won, 7/18 BP won
Federer : 116 W, 86 UE, 190 points won, 7/18 BP won

I don't know how I'd avoided to play a fifth set, it was really close, and he would have deserved to reach the final too.

In the second semifinal, Milos Raonic defeated David Ferrer, 7/5 in the fifth.
I'm not going to maintain the suspense, it was an easy final for me : 6/3 6/2 6/3 against the Canadian.
Unbelievale defensive point in the first game of the last set, I've uploaded the video here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0es_Z_ ... e=youtu.be
(Sorry for the bad quality, it comes from my phone).

So, I've won 3 Grand Slams in a row, I'm hesitating :
- Djokovic is the best player in the game, and I've no difficulty to win against almost anyone, Nadal excepted, and Federer/Nishikori sometimes

I've 2 solutions :
- continue my career with the Serbian in Incredible 10
- restart in Incredible 1 with Kyrgios (I raised up his stats a little bit in the players.ini file, to make him a solid top 30 player)

Well ZuutCoke , its 2013 year , my first . Nadal got eliminated by Federer - Fed 3/6 4/6 6/4 6/3 7/5 Nadal. And then Fed beat del potro 6/3 6/2 6/4 in the final :D. WoW After seeing your video , i swear i will never play on incredible , that is not tennis :D i mean its not realistic. Just looking what is this , well... i cant accept it :D . No offence , though . Why dont you make your own char and develop him , instead of playing with Kyrgios or someone else. Just an advice :D its more fun if you ask me

Yes, incredible isn't realistic, I think the Master 4/5 level is the one who sticks the most to reality ;)
But Djoko is my favourite player, i love to play with him, and it's too simple in Master level...

I don't feel like playing with a created player, because it's not realistic, but "develop a character" like you say is maybe a good choice, like start with Kyrgios at number #300 or 1000 ;)
