Of course! Zheng Jie is my all-time favorite player ever! I think there is a lot of drama and intrigue on the WTA, plus several very interesting characters scattered through the Top 100 (and beyond). WTA is very interesting. I think, though, it could be improved a little by making its rankings and schedule a little easier to follow.

Hi everyone, I'm back at last - long update coming up for my 2007 ATP Season!

Congrats iopazzza on your promising run, commiserations to SDAWG - hopefully you will be back to Slam-winning ways soon!

So, following on from the shock loss in Dubai, James Zeiner headed to Indian Wells. He destroyed Xavier Malisse 6-0, 6-0 in the opening match in 50 minutes, defeated Mikhail Youzhny 6-2, 6-2 and then destroyed Andy Murray in a very one-sided encounter 6-1, 6-0 to reach the Quarter Finals. That was a great win considering the trouble Murray has posed in past meetings. The rampage continued as Zeiner swept past Tomas Berdych 6-1, 6-0, then dispatched Andy Roddick 6-1, 6-2 in the Semi Finals to set up a Final meeting with top-ranked Roger Federer. Zeiner went into the match with an 8-9 H2H record, with his most recent win in 4 sets at the 2007 Australian Open Final. He played some awesome tennis packed with jaw-dropping passing shots and ran away with the match 6-3, 6-2 to take home his 2nd Indian Wells Title!

After this, Zeiner played in Miami, winning his first match against Serra 6-2, 6-2, before taking revenge upon Lleyton Hewitt for the Dubai defeat, winning 6-1, 6-3. In R4, Zeiner was locked in an epic battle with David Ferrer and had to save 1 Match Point before winnin 6-4, 4-6, 7-5! In the QFs, he beat Nieminen 6-1, 6-0, then thrashed Marcos Baghdatis 6-0, 6-0 to make the final and continue his dominant run through the American hard court season. In the Final however, Zeiner was stunned 6-7, 3-6 by rising star Novak Djokovic (who also defeated Federer in the QFs)!

Zeiner was then called up for Davis Cup duty for Australia against Spain, where he defeated Ferrer 7-5, 6-3, 6-0 in the first match. However, he lost the first set 3-6 to Nadal in his 2nd tie and was forced to retire due to "injury" (my computer crashed :()

Onto the clay season where more success awaited. Monte Carlo began and Zeiner reclaimed the World No. 1 ranking by winning his R2 match against Kohlschreiber 6-0, 6-2. He then beat Guillermo Canas 6-3, 6-2 before once again defeating Nieminen 6-3, 6-4 to reach the Semis. James Blake was the next opponent, who he duly beat 6-4, 6-3, before dispatching Nadal in the final 6-3, 6-2 and winning his 3rd Monte Carlo Title (also won in 2004 and 2005)!

In Madrid, Zeiner was the 3-time Defending Champion. He beat Chela 7-6, 6-1 in the opening match after a tough first set with 6 breaks of serve. He then swatted aside Andreev 6-1, 6-1 and Stan Wawrinka 6-0, 6-4 to reach the Semis. Once again, he played Ferrer and broke right at the end of each set to win 6-4, 6-4 to reach another Final. The final was a formality, as he dismissed JC Ferrero 6-2, 6-2 to pick up his 4th Consecutive Madrid Title!

Then for the first time, Zeiner opted to play the Rome Masters. He won his opening match 6-0, 6-2 then beat declining David Nalbandian 6-1, 6-2 to reach the QFs. The QF against Davydenko was tricky, with Davydenko breaking first, but Zeiner responded beautifully to reel off 16 points in a row and win the first set, before closing out the match 6-3, 6-4. He was in fine form and beat Tommy Haas 6-3, 6-1 to reach yet another final, and routed Gonzalez 6-2, 6-1 to sweep the clay season Masters :D

But then at Roland Garros 2007, something changed. Zeiner was not timing the ball quite as well. He easily won the first 2 matches 6-0, 6-1, 6-2 and 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, but there were too many errors and the 1st serve percentage was down at 41%. He produced a solid performance to beat Chela in R3, 6-1, 6-3, 6-2 and then made it easily past Paul-Henry Mathieu 6-3, 6-1, 6-1. The Quarter Final with Robredo was a close match, with Zeiner eventually winning 6-4, 7-5, 6-2 after staying mentally strong in the first 2 sets, and this set up yet another meeting with Ferrer. Ferrer was in excellent form, and he quickly went up a break in the 1st set, but Zeiner responded by breaking back and then breaking once again right before the tie-break. He ran through the second set and then broke in the 8th game of set 3 to serve for the match! But Ferrer suddenly came up with some fantastic return winners (LUCKY!) to break back, then eventually took the set 7-2 in a tie-break! This was the FIRST set Zeiner had dropped throughout the whole of the clay season! Ferrer continued this great form and broke early in the 4th set and then won it - this meant that this was also the FIRST time anyone had taken Zeiner to 5 sets at Roland Garros. Ferrer could not be stopped, and finally served out the match to complete an epic comeback from 2 sets down, triumphing 5-7, 1-6, 7-6, 6-3, 6-4!! This was also Zeiner's first loss at Roland Garros since 2004, and since Federer went on to win the title, he dropped back to No. 2 in the rankings.

After this tough loss, Zeiner recuperated and then went to the grass courts of Halle, faced with a relatively easy draw. He defeated Mardy Fish 6-3, 6-2 in the opening match, then beat Kohlschreiber 6-1, 6-2 to reach the Semifinals against Novak Djokovic. Zeiner broke in the opening game of the match and served his way to winning the first set. There were no breaks in the 2nd set, but Djokovic held his nerve better in the tie-break. There was to be no comeback though, as Zeiner romped through the decider to win 6-4, 6-7, 6-1, then he returned the following day to beat Davydenko 6-2, 6-1 and win Halle for a 2nd time (first title in 2004)!

Zeiner now enters Wimbledon seeded 2, looking for his first victory there :D He has a 47-4 Win-Loss record for the season, having won 7 titles in the year (including 1 Grand Slam).
Zeiner also has 13 Masters Titles to his name
Australian Open - 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009
Roland Garros - 2005, 2006
Wimbledon - 2009
US Open - 2008

Its me again , the guy with the long posts :D . I have lot to tell you. Memphis 1st round - Against Nieminen , I dont know how this guy isnt higher on rankins he is unbeliavable... in the first he broke me twice , i've somehow managed to rebrokre him and go on tiebreak , but he beat me 7-0 in the tie :D . I was stunned. I've hoped for a good run , because then i would have got better stats in Indian Wells. Well second set started better and there were no major errors on both sides , no BP. We served to 5/5 when i was ready for another tiebreak ... but somehow managed to beat him on his serve. I knew it was going to be tough, but not that tough. The third set was similar , SAME LEVEL on both sides , but his level dropped in last game BEFORE tiebreak :D and i've won 7-5 again. It was my toughest match in the whole tournament , REALLY . In the second round i had POSPISIL . Well i wouldnt even write for this , he is 0-5 or 0-6 vs me , so its pointless to play him :D We have very similar styles , types of shots , but i am just better in everythig. Beat him 6/1 6/4 (with a fight in the second set). In the quarters i played NADAL... well if it wasnt for him i would be on final , but he beat me yet again. I've started first set very good serving amazing , making great shots and i was thiknig for a moment that i can beat him , but he won the with 1 BP just... in the last game while i was serving for 5/5. We were pretty even . In the second tough , he destroyed me 1/6 and he had 2 points for a BAGGEL , but i 've saved them. He went on to win the title beating murray in the final 7/6 3/6/ 7/5. Well thats all for memphis , now the funnny part begins :D. I've decided to skip this year Delray Beach (i've played first year here and lost to ferrer in semis's) Its 250 so i wont lose much points. Anyway my stats at the begining of the INDIAND WELLS Looked very promising , i would say even amazing. I was confident that with a good draw i can make the semi's or even final. When i saw the draw i saw 3 easy matches just to practice on the court :D (because every court is different on sam megapatch). Bye , 2nd round against Careno Busta 6/3 6/2 no problems , nothhing special. 3 rd round against FOgnini , actualy he broke me in the openning game of the match and hold the lead until 4/3 where i've rebroke him very hard i must say. I've won the first set in the weirdest fashion , but its fognini you know. HE was serving for 6/6 , but made 2 UE . And they i hit return winner instantly , leading me to 3 set points. He saved the first but collapsed on the second one. 7-5 for me. In the second set i just decied to speed up things , went on more concentrated and when i did that he just started missing , so it was embarassing 6/0 in the second set :D. He had got nothing to hold on to. After Fognini i had another easy draw Isner . I never have problems against him really , i am just sitting far from baselin and return and he miss. That was the story of the match , i've won 6/3 6/2. After Isner i had my 1/4 final against Del Potro , he was one of the top 5 guys who have been better than me last year. CLEARLY better (he and Top 4 of course :D). But this time his stats were dropping , he wasnt that good like the World tour Finals and last year when he won 3 out of 4 slams , and lost the 4th final :D. He wasnt hitting that hard , but still the match was very competitive , but after some more games it was obvious i was dominating. That was the moment where i just decided to step up on another level afte the tournament. I've beat him 7-3 6-2 and i've got lucky when ALmagro beat Djokovic :D and faced me in semis. Almagro was easyer and lost 3-6 3-6 to me. And the final was against.... NADAL. I thought that was all , i was happy with the final , but it wasnt to be. He just wasnt on same level as last year , like del potro. I almost baggeled him in the first set , he saved 2 set points and i've won 6-1. Second set was tougher but again one break of serve and 6/4 for me. So its my first masters title , yes its early a bit unrealistic , but i am planning to make this char a GOAT candidate , also with this win my condition steps up ... It says: Whenever i win Masters 1000 or Slam i raise the level by 1 bar , i am playing pro 9 now. Starting in miami with even better stats :D. The court is even more familliar to me and i think i will make a great run again. I was semifinalist last year here. I am 6th seeded. Bye in first round , got CUevas in second and Mayer in third round . And Monfils/youzhny after that (this will be tough match it may show if i am ready for pro 10 :D). Judging by first set Cuevas is not a real threat 6/1 and just starting the second one. That is all for now :D

Australian Open Semifinals Richard Gasquet def. Mario Diming 6-4 6-4 6-1. He really just out played me in every aspect of this match. I couldn't do anything to stop him. He came into the match with a form of +0.23 which is crazy considering he played two straight five setters. Even though I very disappointed in the way that I played that match couldn't really get down had my Doubles Semifinals where myself and Jeff Coetzee defeats The Bryan Bros 2-6 7-5 6-1. This is the fourth time straight that we have beaten the Bryan Bros. In the finals we had a tough match but beat the number 2 seed. David Ferrer and Ivan Ljubicic 7-5(5) 3-6 7-5 to win our first grand slam in Doubles. Also for the second straight tournament Jeff and I beat the top three seeds to win the tournament. We are still perfect on the season 14-0. As a team we are about the 5th Team in the World after winning the grand slam. In singles I'm ranked #15 in the top 20 for the first time!!

Side Note- Roger Federer beats Richard Gasquet in the finals 6-4 7-6(5) 6-3.

Next Tournament will be San Jose.

I'm playing as a character I created named Maria Bueno. She is pretty much a counter puncher with very little power. These girls are beating me left and right this year lol.

Wow, congratulations! I can't remember who you're playing as, though. Post a screenshot of your character! :)

Also, try breaking up your post into paragraphs, too, because I want to read everything but it's a little hard to follow sometimes with just the one giant block of text.

You could pretty much be describing Zheng Jie, so I know what you mean. :P

Lol! Maybe! But I would like to think I am better since I have won two grand slams and been number one for 33 weeks. Number 7 now though and slipping fast. I reached my first QF of the year at Toronto but lost in the 3rd round of Cincinnati and I'm the defending US Open champ...I could lose a LOT of points and go tumbling down the rankings!!!!!!!!

It seems like my draws have just been pathetic this year. I keep drawing these mid ranked chicks with INCREDIBLE POWER! They just seem to hit two balls and I have no chance lol. They are more effective than some of the top ranked power players.

^ I just meant the "counter puncher with very little power" part describes Zheng Jie. Jie hasn't had nearly the results I always dreamed about for her. Don't get me wrong, I am proud of her two Slam semifinals, but I would have given a lot to see her win the whole thing, just once.

Oh I get it. And this last year turned out to be a disaster........ So I went the entire year without winning a tournament.....I only made one QF......and I finished the year at #27!!!!!!! I made my player wear all black to start this year and I drew Kim Clijsters in the first round of Brisbane and lost! So I am 0-1. Sigh.... LOL!

I only got the game over the last couple of months and I love it! It feels so realistic and because of how difficult I find it (I play on Pro 10 btw, so I am average at best :-p)
I created my own character and started ranked 1000, after 2 and a half seasons I am now lingering around the 50 rank. Although my rank has fallen a bit this year I feel I have played better, when I come across the top 10/20 I was losing 6-0/6-1 last year, this year had a few 6-4/6-3 against the likes of Wawrinka, even managed to beat del potro at Indian Wells! But still losing to people i should be beating ranked around me. This year the draws in competitions havent been as kind as they could of been, next aim is to try and get into that top 32 so I am seeded for Grand Slams which should mean I beat my current best (2nd Round about 5 times!!!). Obviously I am not as good as most of you but thought I would share :D

great char iopzzza!! and great stats too :applause: :applause:
so, I started my carreer ATP from no.30; you can find my character's sheet attached to this post :D
I decided to start form AO, and I think it was a good idea :D maybe next year i'll do a tournament before it. I'm playing as Matthias Weber, from Germany, he's a various player and... he's 15 YEARS-OLD!! Still don't know why XDXD

However, I played R1 Australian Open Against Jiri Vanek, no.99: i hadn't any trouble up to 6-0 3-0, then he started to play safer and safer and won a few games, but I easily closed 6-0 6-3 6-3.
I should play R2 against no.10 Thomas Johansson, but no! He's beaten by french no.73 Michael Llodra in 4 sets :) I 've started the match e few minutes ago, we've played only the 1st game, which I easily won on my serve :D

P.S. I'm playing Master 4, elite controls

YES!!!! There is hope. So after going 10-8 through my eight events in the year, somehow, someway I turned it around in the majors. I made it to the semifinals of Roland Garros (the furthest I have ever made it there) beating Zvonareva, Serena Williams, and Myskina along the way before losing to Clijsters. I followed that up with a quarterfinal bid at Wimbledon beating Smashnova and Seles before barely losing to Henin (who is currently number one and has won four of the last five majors). I'm back in to top 20 at number 15 and hopefully will be back in the top 10 before the end of the year. YAY!!!!!

Hello guys it's been a while !
I love to read your careers, but I'd put mine aside since my last post.

At the French Open approach (I pray for Nole to finally win :D), I've decided to get back in the business.
So remember, in my 2014 season, I'd won Wimbledon and US Open, but i've lost 6 times against Rafa, in 6 meetings (including a 6/0 6/1 6/1 in French Open final...)

I'd started 2015 with a 25 winning streak :
AO : Djokovic d. Raonic 6/3 6/2 6/2
Dubai : Djokovic d. Haas 6/2 6/2
IW : Djokovic d. Monfils 6/2 6/4
Miami : Djokovic d. Federer 4/6 7/5 6/1 (Roger served for the match at 6/4 5/4..., and I'd also a very tough match against Milos in semi 6/7 7/5 6/2, he was incredible on serve and moved to his forehand on first shot after)

The streak was interrupted by...Tommy Robredo in 3rd round at Monte Carlo ! He played incredibly good, like Rafa at the French Open, insane stamina, 80% of the points were over 50 shots, it was ridiculous :D
So he defeated me 6/0 4/6 6/1, and Nishikori captured the title at the end of the week.

This season is like in the real world, I'm leading the Race by far, followed by Raonic, Nishikori, Federer, Ferrer, Monfils and Murray, Rafa is out of the top 10 for now, he hasn't reached a final until the Madrid one !
I defeated Tsonga, Raonic and Roger to face the king of Clay in the Spanish capital.
I'm playing at I write this message, I've managed to take the first one 6/2, helped by a lot of UE from Rafa, but he raised his level to win the second 6/2...

My main goal was to win all four slams in Incredible 1 level, RG is the last one. I'd just won my first set on clay against Nadal, and he has lower stats than last season, so I have very high hopes for this 2015 edition :)
