Hi , its iopzzza again. After Buenos Aires (see 2 comments ago) i had to play Indian Wells where ive' won the title last year. I was playing good with a solid stats. Bye in 1st and L.Mayer in 2nd round. Beat him easily 6/3 6/3 with 1 break of serve each set. AFter him i've played Mathieu in 3rd round - No contest 6/2 in the first set and saving 2 Set points in the second :D i've won 6/2 7/5. After that i was the luckyest man on earth playing Zemlja . He wasnt bad , but i've won 6/4 6/2 with solid play. In next round i've played tough Tsonga - he was unbreakable in the start but collapsed at 5/4 for me in both sets ;D i've wont 6/4 6/4. In SF my opponent was Federer vs whom i was 0-4 until now. We both started good , with solid serve and strokes until 5/4 when on his serve i've finally made a 2 good returns which were enough to seal 6/4 the first set. The second set i started terrible and he went up 3-0 eventually closing the set 6-3 , which very much could have been 6-0 :D. The third set was a fight , despite the 6-3 for me , there was some really long rally's but finally i came up victorious and advanced to the final. Where i had to play A.Murray - the world number 1 :D (i am number 2). I beat him easily in AO semis , but this time he wass better ... ( in the second set :D ). IN the first i started very well with serve game , break , serve game , which was enough to win 6-3. In the second he broke for 2-0 but after that won only 2 games on his serve and i've won 6-3 6-4 , winning my 4 MASTERS title overall and SECOND INdian Wells title. My next stop was Miami where i've made two SF last two years. BYE in 1st round , 2nd Round - Tsujno :D 6/1 6/4 (he was solid in second set , but not solid enough). AFter that i've played my nightmare Monaco :D. I've noticed an older guys like Him (he's 31) ,MATHIEU and Verdasco for example , now they have AMAZING stats. Miami court is slow enough for his playing and i've had to win only my serve games , he was aslo serving very solid . THere was nothing interesting in the first set 6/6 and ONE min BREAK ONLY for me to win 7/6. The second set... well , my character was a bit tired , not much though , but still. Monaco didnt make any errors and i've won only 1 game in the second set losing 1-6. The third set was simillar losing 2-6. So i've failed to defend my SF from last year , but i remain the numebr 2 in the world. Murray doesnt have to deffend points until Wimby so it will be hard to become number 1. Stay tuned for more

Hi ! After THE MIAMI i've tryed to play davis , beat rosol and berdych and the G.Dimitrov lost ALL OF HIS MATCHES rosol, berdych and doubles and i've decided i wont play davis cup on this career. After that i queued in Casablanca(master 1 diff) (2nd consecutive titles). 1st Seeded - 2RMoraing 6/0 6/0 :D. 3R - G.Dimitrov easy first set 6/2 and very tough 6/4. Tsonga played awful in SF 6/2 6/2. AND the final was a bloody massacre against Del Potro. I've lost a tight tiebreak in the first set 7/9 and i knew i had to step up to beat this Del Potro. In the second set everything started simillar until 5/4 for me and his serve , 33 point rally sealed the deal for me in my first BP in the match 6/4. He led up in the third set 2-0 , i've managed to break back to 2-2 and we served good for 4-4. He was serving first so i had to make something in this game, and i did it . After 0-30 i've won 3 consecutive points and he made DF which gave me the break. I've also had a problem in my last game , facing 2 BP , but finally won 6/7 6/4 6/4. My third Casablanca title :D and my 14-th title overall (10 of them atp 250 :D). Afte that i've played in Monte Carlo where i've won the title last year. I've decided to switch back the difficulty to pro 10, dont get me wrong , i can beat the majority of the players on master 1 , but the conditions i've set , i must fulfil :D.
When i win slam i will raise the difiiculty ( just as i made in the second season when winning 2 masters.) After all i've entered monte carlo on master 1 to deffend my title :D wanted some challenge and THERE WAS some. Crazy match against dolgopolov - he led 4-0 in the first and i won 6 games in a row making almost no errors . The second set was even worst he again led 4-0 and 30-0 but i've managed to break back AGAIN 6-4. He is so unpredictable , he can play like machine one point , he can play like idiot the other :D. AFter him i've had 2 easy matches B.Baker 6/3 6/4 - i thought it would be easyer but i didnt had to work too hard to win.
And John Isner (my favourite to play against :D) 6/2 7/6 , he tried to fight in the second set but i've won the tie 7-3. I was in the semis against Wawrinka (should i say GOATinka if he is on form). For my luck he wasnt 6/2 6/2 win which i didnt knew how came , just played my hearth out , volleys , deep shots and everything (except drop shots :D i dont have stats for them). In the final i've met Del Potro again. This time it was terrible. He led up 5-0 and i've won only one game losing the first set 1-6. In the second i gave him the ultimate fight. He tryed to stay competitive , but thats clay , my favoourite surface i've won 6-3 with one break and winning 3 BP. The third set had to seal the deal and for my luck he made 2 UE on 5/4 for me :D , which was enough to seal 6/4. So its my 15th title - 5th masters also tieing with Courier , Saffin and Roddick :D.

Here I am with my carreer!
so, QFs of Zageb against Stepanek (1st match with elite controls). I had to get used to elite controls, but I managed to win my serve's games till 6-6 (saving 7 break points!). the tiebreak started awfully: 0-4:O but somehow I won the last 7 points and I closed the se 7-4 at the tiebreak! 2nd set was opened by a break in my favour, and i won the match 7-6(4) 6-4 saving ALL the 13 break points :D in semis there was a derby with no.11 tommy Haas. It was a very tough match; 1st set was a triller. He went up 4-2, then *5-4 but he trashed 2 set points and i broke him :) we went at the tiebreak where he went 5-2**. Then, I played 5 incredible points which gave me the set 7-6(5) into set two i was very confident, but Haas broke me in the first game and he kept the break until 3-2, when I got the break back. but in the next game I incredibly lost all of my confidence and I got broken... on 3-5 I gave EVERYTHING I had, but that wasn't enough. He broke me for 3-6 and he dominated the final set: 7-6(5) 3-6 2-6. I was pretty happy, though :D
then I went into a bad period: Lost in R1 at Indian wells against mathieu, defeated lu 6-3 6-1 but lost very easily with Simon in Miami. Won R1 in Casablanca 6-4 6-2 with Malisse (2-1 now the H2H) but lost in the next match 6-7(3) 1-6 with Andreas Beck. Youzhny trashed me in Montecarlo and then I won against gicquel in Munich; but after that win I lost twice against moya (R2 and Madrid) and also against Almagro in rome. Now I'm into the roland garros, R1 very easy against a local wild card... hope to reach round 2!

You know how i am already :D! After Monte Carlo i've played in barcelona. Bye , 2R against montanes 6/1 and 6/4 , no challenge. Then 3R vs Bagdatis 6/3 6/1 and SF loss vs Verdasq 1/6 3/6. IN madrid i've lost in 2R but i must say i was distracted :D by the TV 3/6 6/7 , but well i like to lose sometimes. Unfortunatley my stats dropped low before Rome and i knew i had to play well to save my bid for the Roland Garros. Bye , 2R against Fish 3/6 6/3 6/4 - hard first and hard second set , the third was just serving. 6/0 6/3 against G.Dimitrov :D. 6/1 6/4 vs Djokovic and my toughest match as of now 5/7 6/2 7/6 against nishikori. He had 2 mp but missed them and i managed to turn things arround. In the Final i've beat Murray 6/4 6/4 in interesting fight. I've won rome and yes i've already knew i was going at least SF at Garros.
OFF TOPIC : I dont know if u follow my career guys , but i was thinking to put in it a new thing which you will see now :D , just tell me if you like it , if u dont i wont post anymore of it... INTERVIEW :D -

REPORTER: Well done winning ROME MASTERS. Are you feeling confident about the upcoming Roland Garros ?
DIMITROV : Thank you. I want to thank all my fans and my coaching team for all the support. Yes , i feel very confident going into this year's Roland Garros , last year i've made the semi's losing to an amazing player. I hope to achieve even more things this time.
REPORTER : You are tipped as one of the big favourites this year to win Roland Garros alongside with Rafa Nadal ? What would you say of that ?
DIMITROV : Well only the time and the draw will tell. I want to play my game and serve good . If i do that i am confident i can beat anyone.
REPORTER : Actually , the draw already came out - You are in section 8th and the other seeded players there are gulbis , dimitrov and simon. There is possible 3rd round meeting with gulbis who you've lost to in the 2013's wimbledon?
DIMITROV : Yes , he is amazing player and when he is playing at top level there is not much i can do. I had tough times against him in other tournaments not just wimbledon.
REPORTER : In the QF you can meet either Federer or Nishikori. What would you say of that ?
DIMITROV : Well , first Federer - he is the greatest of all time for me , 17 grand slams , numerous other records , what can i say. Nishikori - I Would love to play against him in a slam again, he is playing just a beatiful tennis . We've made some tnnies classics in the past.

REPORTER : Thanks for you time.

Re: Write your career results here!

Postby iopzzza » 21 Jul 2015, 19:26

And then it was time for some Roland Garros :D. Started agains swank 6/0 6/2 6/0 , then ruffin 6/0 6/1 6/1 , gulbis 6/0 6/2 6/3 and G.Dimitrov 6/2 6/3 6/4 (he broke me for the first time in this tournament in the third set.) The QF's were - Murray/Tsonga , Isner/Almagro , Djokovic/Nadal , Federer/Me. I was seeded second so i've already knew the first 3 SF players :D. TSONGA / ISNER (LOL) , Nadal - me/fed. I've started very well against Fed winning 6/2 the first set , then he fought better in the second to but lost 3/6. And in the third he played the best tennis but again lost 4/6. 6/2 6/3 6/4. INTERVIEW -

Reporter : Congratulations , you are all the way to the SF now ! How did you did that on court , what was the secret ?
Dimitrov : Well , the secret was staying consistent and wait for the right moments , dont be fooled by the result (6/2 6/3 6/4) it was hell a of fight out there but i've managed to hit the winners at the right time.
Reporter : You are facing Nadal at SF , what will be your preparation before this match ?
Dimitrov : Well i will rest a lot and hopefully try to play as least good as today. It will be an epic fight
Reporter : Some say that whoever wins of you two (nadal - dimitrov) will go on and win the garros . Is that true ?
Dimitrov : Well its a bit disrespectful to Isner. He is an amazing player and the fact he is all the way in the final , makes him a very dangerous opponent who is capable of beating anyone when he has a day. For now i want to just concentrate on my match with Rafa and fight for the best .
Reporter : Thanks and good luck tommorow

------------------------------ Its tommorow :D. I knew nadal will be my biggest challenge in this tournamnet. ISNER won the other SF , so he was in the final against either me or nadal. I must say i wasnt expecting what i did. Nadal started great with 2/0 lead , but after that i've won 12 consecutive games 6/2 6/0. In the third set we both served good to 4/4 but i broke him finally for 5/4 and won 6/4 advancing to my second FINAL at GS. INTERVIEW

Reporter : Well done reaching the final ! It must be a great feeling ?
Dimitrov : Yes , i played amazing today and i hope to play like this in the final , also.
Reporter : What do u think would've happened , if nadal won the third set ?
Dimitrov : I think he would came out victorious in the end , it would have killen me. I cant play like this for 5 whole sets , its too much.
Reporter : Good luck in the final against Isner
Dimitrov: Thank you

----------------Preparing for the match with some coffee :D. It turned out that isner was my biggest challenge. In the first set he broke me first for 3/2 but couldnt retain it and i instantly equaled him 3/3 after that we got our next games 4/4 and i broke for 5/4 , winning 6/4 the first set. The second set was with no breaks 4/4 and then again 5/4 for me and 6/4 after that :D. Can you gues what happened in the third set? I just sit back and let him do his game serving good, waited for the moment in the last games of his serve :D and yes that moment came . Guess when ? 4/4 . 5/4 . 6/4 :D . So 6/4 6/4 6/4 and my FIRST GS title . Advancing to Master 1 now.

Reporter: You've finally made it ! Was it easy for you , out there?
Dimitrov: It wasnt for sure. As i've said Isner is amazing player , but i try remain passionate and calm, and eventually i've pushed him in the right moments
Reporter: What does the future holds for you now? Are you planning to play pre-wimbledon tourney's?
Dimitrov: Well ,yeah. I want to play in Eastbourne just to check the grass. Its similar to SW19's grass and i definetly want to do better on grass this year.
Reporter: Thanks for your time.

Re: Write your career results here!

Postby iopzzza » 21 Jul 2015, 19:56

As i've said i stared my grass season in eastbourne. I had a plan in my head. Didnt want to win the title because when you win the title its on sunday and wimby starts monday so no time for training. I beat D.Evans 6/0 6/3 (on master 1 now). Then i had very tough match against Berankis. Saving 3 SP in the first set but finally he won it after 30 minutes play 6/4. I had to turn things arrodun i wanted SF for the points. Found my serve and we both didnt faced a single BP in the second set i think he won only 3 points on my serve , but i am not sure :D. We've started the tiebreak then with no breaks again until 4/4 when he broke me for 5/4 unfortunately. Then he had 2 service points , won the first and got to a MP on his serve ,but i hit a return winner :D. After that i've saved the another MP and equaled 6/6. Won the next point also 7/6 and it was his turn to serve again. I've wont the next 3 points (1 on his serve) and won the set 7/6(7). IN the third i just played better and won 6-1. In QF i've met TIpsarevic , i was scared because he is very good player , he plays similar to djokovic , but as it turned out he wasnt that good on grass and i've won 6-3 6-3. In the SF i've retired instantly against nishikori ,because i needed time to train some points before Wimby :D. The most important thing is that i've finally FOUND my serve and i can win easily my servie games.
In SW19 i had the ultimate LUCK :D . Fed ,Nadal,Djoko and Murray were in sections 1,2,3,4 i was in 8 :D so i would've meet them in the final , eventually :D. My first match was against BERANKIS whom i've played just days ago. This time there was no contest and the world number 2 won 6/3 6/2 6/3 in a preparation match for the next rounds.
2R vs Nieminen. I knew he is tough he had me almost beaten in first and second years but age forgives no one. He was a shadow of his former self and i've won very easily 6/3 6/2 6/4. My 3rd round opponent was R.Ram. I've started the first set confident and managed to hit an early break. He didnt had chance on my serve , but my main mistake was that i didnt push him more for 1 more break of serve. I was broken finally int this wimbleon when i was serving for the set :( 5/5. After that he played his volley game and we made it to 6/6. I admit i've layed terrible tiebreaker and lost 1-7. He won the first set 7/6 , but after that i gave him only 4 games in the next 3 sets :D and i won 6/7 6/2 6/1 6/1 i dont think the other sets needs commenting :D. My QF opponent was G.Dimitrov (yet again :D) and well i was confident from the beginning to the end and i even intentionally made the score 6-3 6-3 6-3 , i was serving for 6-2 , but let him broke me :D. My QF opponent was harder - Raonic. He served amazing in the first set , he aced me 12 times !!! more than anyone else, but i've finally managed to break him in the last game for 7-5. Yes he is a serve bot with very good baseline play , but not good enough :D. In second set his level dropped just a bit but that was enough for me to break him twice and win 6-3. I must say my service was working again. I hit 8 aces , but nt only that , i managed ot hit almost every serve in the corner and the retur is high and i can finish the majority of points with only 2 shots. In the third set he again tryed to keep aceing me but that wasnt enough and i broke him for 6-4. 7/5 6/3 6/4. What i did ? My weakest surface ? New level (master 1). Still in the SF and i've lost only 1 set :D. I thought i was dreaming , but well i felt it too easy even on master 1. My sf opponent was Del Potro. Well it was bad , very bad i've lost 1-6 0-6 1-6.... i'm joking of course :D. The whole match was tough. He was serving like raonic and playing very good from the baseline. Aces , fast points to 5-5 and i finally managed to broke him or not .. he broke himself :D 1 DF and 2 UE. I won 7-5 the first part. The second part started simillar , aces , fast points to 5-5 and yet again he did 2 DF and i hit 2 winners and won the second set 7-5. Yeah now i felt everything was too easy. In the third set he didnt gave me a break of serve , but i've won 7/6(3).
In the Final i've faced world number 1 and deffending champion A.Murray. The first set was simillar to the last one with del potro. No breaks aand oNLY 1 break of serve in the tie and i won 7-6(5). The second set was again with no breaks of serve , but i managed to return good in one game and won it. THe served good and won 6-4 the second set. He broke me in the third for 1-0 but after that i've won 6 games and won 7/6 6/4 6/1. Yes my second grand slam title. 3rd slam final this season , but i htink to raise the difficulty even more , master 2 or 3. We will see :D

well it depends on you... if you want a more challenging tour, try to play master 2, I'm still master 1 and I'll switch to master 2 when I'll won my first title (if I'll win it XD)

(Sorry for my bad english)
Hey guys, starting a new career here with Maxou Patch! Hey iopzzza, congrats on your title. I read all of these 16 pages and i'm enjoying to following all of you
(who are playing a career... Haha).
I'll start my career in 2010, when in real life i had 17 y.o. I'll try to start in pro 1, simulation controls and a new brazilian player (Luis) starting on 693th position.
2010:
Ranking: 693th
My objectives in this first year: Earning some points to get ranked in a better position. Hope to be one of the 10 best brazilian player on ranking at year's end.
First tournament: Future!
Germany F1: Have to qualify. So let's do it.
R1 WIN! 7/6(3) against Alejandro Vargas (487)
WOW! I'll talk about this. My first victory on my tour just on my debut. The game starts with Vargas breaking my service. Then I broke him service. 1-1. Vargas broke again. And i almost break him service, but he confirms it. Then He Breaks me again. 1-4 and 30-0 to Vargas. My confidence was going down, but when i hit a 2 return winners and made a lob to let 30-40, my confidence grows. And i let the game with 5/4. He confirms him service and i do the same with mine. 6/5, Vargas service, 30-40, Match Point to me... I made an UE. Deuce and he confirms. Tie Break. Starting lose my point with another UE, i break him two points after.
Then won the game! SO HAPPY NOW! =)

R2: LOSE! 0/6 against Carlos Moya
Ouch... A great and solid win for him. I was lacking pace against his shots.
Results: Drop to 971 position...

Second tournament: Future!
Spain F1: Have to qualify too.
R1: Win! 6/3 against Rodrigo Gomez-Saigos (693)
R2: Lose! 0/6 against Anil Yuksel (523)
Yuksel starts so slow. Almost break his game, but when he confirms, he takes more confidence. And won easily on me.
Results: Remains on 971...

Third tournament: Future!
Spain F2: Have to qualify too.
R1: LOSE! 1/6 against Matteo Viola (643)
Worse than i expect. When I broke him i thought that could be easy.
Results: Remains on 971...

Fourth tournament: Future!
France F1: Have to qualify.
R1: LOST! 1/6 against Stanislav Vovk (621)

Fifth tournament: Future!
Costa Rica F1! First tournament on my continent. I'm so excited.
R1: LOSE! 0/6 against Sander Groen (516)
In AUS Open, Nadal defeat Federer (2/6, 6/3, 7/6(4), 3/6, 8/6)
Results: Grows to 964...

Sixth tournament: Future!
Panama F1
R1: LOSE! 6/7(4) against Marcelo Amador (606)
A match full of breaks. Until 5-5 all the games was conquered with breaks. In Tie Break i was 4-2 with service and made some mistakes and Amador set 3 winners and count with 2 UE made by me to take the match!
Results: Drop to 996... =\

Sixth tournament: Future!
Australia F1
R1: LOSE! 1/6 against Luke Milligan (563)
Results: Stays on 996...

Seventh tournament: Future!
Australia F2!
R1: WIN! 7/5 against Tobon (520)
R2: LOSE! 1/6 against Martin Trueva (546)
I have to think more about my seconds qualifying matches... Haha.
Results: Drop to 997...

Just one advice... dont play with Maxou patch on career mode , there are many bugs. The patch is not created for world tour :). You will experience some of the bugs i am sure.

After wimby , i've played atlanta (master 1). Started good against pospisil 6/3 7/5. Then beat sousa 6/7 6/3 7/6 (he missed 3 Match points :D. yea he is unbelivable. Amazing stats , capable of beating me.) In SF and F i didnt had any troubles beating B.Kid 6/4 6/1 and Isner 6/3 6/1 :D. That is my (let me count) 11th atp 250 title and 19th title overall. After this easy tournamnet i had to play in Montreal where i lost in 2nd round last season (must say i had distractions when i played TE before , now i dont have.) 1R - BYE . 2R J.Zopp 6/0 6/1. 3rd R Simon 6/1 1/6 (amazgin simon humiliated me) 6/1 :D. IN QF i've played DJOKOVIC he broke me and led 2/0 but i rebroke him , kept my service and he was serving for 6/6 i broke him for 7/5. In the second set i've broke him twice and that was the end :D 7/5 6/2. I had easy SF , because Granollers beat Janowicz in QF and i beated fast granollers 6/3 6/2, he had no chacne really. In the final i've played murray in a replay from wimby final. I expected to lose this time , because my last lose was before Rome , at Madrid. Well hell of a murray he started leading 2/0 and then.... i've started fighting and won 6/2 6/0. Yeah i've decided to go upto master 2. In Cincinati i had bye in 1r and Haas in 2nd. He was plainyg amazing in the first set but i've found a weakness he was missing too much smashes and that's the way i broke him for 6/4. In the second set he was ubeliavable and made 3 errors won 6/3. In the third set i've broke him twice for 4/0 and then served out 2 games for 6/2.
In 3rd round i've played Granollers again (this time on master 2 :D). Again 6/3 6/2 no chance for him. IN QF was one of my hardest matches ever playing against G.Dimitrov.
He played 3 PERFECT SETS , but i did more than perfect in two of them , exactly at the end of 1st and 3rd set. I've won 7/5 3/6 7/5 , he destroyed me in the second set.
SF vs Tsonga , who aced 12 times :D and i had to serve perfectly. And yes no BREAK POINTS In the first set and we went to tiebreak when i knew i had to be on my max concentration. Yes it happened i've broke him twice when he was serving for the first time and i've won the tiebreaker 7/4. I must say his Form of the day was +0.10 which means one sublevel higher than the one i've set. Master 3. IN second set his level dropped and i've made a break which was enough to win 7/6 6/3. And so i' was playing master 2 , but i was on the final on another masters event. IN the final i played Murray - yet again. Dimitrov- Murray part 3. The first set started good for me when i led 2/0 , but he instantly equaled 2/2.Then there we no BP until 6/5 for me he made DF and i made 2 good returns , and won 7/5 the first set. In the second set he broke me at the beggining and after that he just failed to make an error :D. In the last game i was one point away from deuce but he served very good and won 6/4 the second set.
I must say i was exhausted in the third set ( not my char , my self :D), because i've played whole montreal and cincinati on 1 day :D. I've tryed my best and ...

It was enough breaking him once and winning 6/3 , but it was hell of a fight . Its pretty unrealistic its my 11th title for this season my 5th MASTERS... and i will see whether to go master 3 or stay master 2. The us open will tell :D. I am also only paris , miami and madrid away from winning all of the masters. The us open will be tough because - i have to face eventually monaco in 3rd rounde , almagro/kochlshreiber in 4th and Nadal/Verdasco/Dolgopolov in QF. In sf there will be berdych/isner or grigor dimitrov / fed. So if i make it to SF there is a chance i might win the US OPEN , but the road to the sf will be extremely tough , especially if i play nadal in QF :D .

Just a review - 21 career titles ,
CLay - Casablanca (13,14,15) , Monte Carlo (14,15) , Rome (15) , Garros (15), Vina Del Mar (15)
Hard - Chennai (13,14) , Montpellier (14) , Winston Salem (14) , Indian Wells (14,15) , Shangai (14), Auckland (15) , Atlanta (15), Cincinati (15) , Montreal (15)
Grass - Hertogenbosch (13), Wimbledon (15)
And i have 9 weeks as number 1 in the world :D

Hi guys, I'm back after playing a very long stretch of tennis - so this will be a long report coming up!

I crashed out early in Halle 2008, failing to live up to my points last year and as a result I lost my Number 1 ranking to Federer.
2008 Halle:

Zeiner def. Williams 6-2, 6-7, 6-4 - I led 5-2 in the 2nd set, but choked badly by trying to aim too close to the sidelines, then I had to dig very deep to win from there
Kavcic def. Zeiner 7-5, 6-4 - poor game all-round, as I produced 37 errors, gifting two breaks to love at the end of each set. Not the best Wimbledon preparation!

2008 Wimbledon:

R1: Zeiner def. Azdin 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 - routine victory (Incredible 1), breaking whenever necessary
R2: Zeiner def. Darcis 6-7, 6-2, 6-1, 6-1 - I dropped the 1st set tie-break 3-7 after double-faulting twice, but quickly recovered and played great with my forehand
R3: Zeiner def. Neodesyov 6-1, 6-4, 6-2 - easy win
R4: Zeiner def. Berdych 7-6, 2-6, 7-6, 6-1 - played a very tight 1st set, Berdych was serving very well and he hit 23 aces throughout the match. Eventually I managed to get on top of his game and get a 4-set win in under 2.5 hours :)

QF: Zeiner def. Nieminen 6-3, 6-0, 7-6 - Again a good match for me, this was the only match of the tournament where I did not get broken and managed to register yet another bagel set. I would then face Nadal in the semifinals (for the first time on grass).

SF: Nadal def. Zeiner 7-5, 6-7, 7-6, 7-6 - This SF match was a tense affair. I led 4-2 in the first set, but squandered the lead and Nadal won it 7-5 with a great passing shot. I managed to grab the 2nd set with an ace in the tie-break (7-5), but was a little mentally weak in the 3rd and 4th sets - I led 4-1 in 3rd set tie-break and 5-3 in 4th set tie-break, but lost both of them!
Federer went on to beat Nadal in the final, so his points lead over me increased. BUT: my best tennis was still yet to come... :)

2008 Toronto (Rogers Cup)

Zeiner def. Dolgopolov 6-3, 6-2
Zeiner def. Simon 6-2, 6-2
Zeiner def. Roddick 6-1, 7-6
Zeiner def. Ferrero 6-4, 6-4
Zeiner def. Karlovic 6-3, 7-5

Not much to say other than I played the best matches I've ever played at Toronto/Montreal!! Historically, I have not had such a good record there, but I managed to win my 1st Title there

I went on to also win 2008 Cincinnati Masters, sweeping through the draw and beating James Blake 6-3, 6-4 in the final! I took a 10-match winning streak into the US Open.

2008 US Open:

R1: Zeiner def. Andreev 6-1, 6-0, 6-4
R2: Zeiner def. Nishikori 6-2, 6-2, 6-1
R3: Zeiner def. Kuznetsov 6-0, 6-0, 6-2

First 3 rounds were all very routine wins as my spin and power were too much for the low-ranked opponents.

R4: Zeiner def. Wawrinka 7-6, 7-6, 6-2 - I held firm against the storm of winners that Wawrinka was hitting and was able to force some errors in the first 2 tie-breaks. At one point, I returned a 145mph bomb serve onto the baseline!

QF: Zeiner def. Murray 6-3, 5-7, 6-2, 6-3 - Solid start as I broke for 2-0, then held serve all the way to take the 1st set. Murray struck back after I led 5-4 in the 2nd set, as he rattled off 3 games in a row to win set 2. But in set 3, he seemed to get tired and I was able to bully his backhand and hit many forehand winners to seal the win and sail into another US Open semifinal!

SF: Zeiner def. Djokovic 6-1, 7-5, 7-5 - I was really dialled in when I played Djokovic, and he did not manage to break me at all in the match. I played the big points very well, and his 1st serve was only at 52% - so I went into a US Open Final at last!

F: Zeiner def. Federer 6-3, 4-6, 6-2, 4-6, 17-15 - This was quite possibly the BEST match ever! So many twists and turns so it would take far too long to describe, but after trailing 1-4 in the 5th set, I took a lead and served for the match 3 times (but got broken back each time!). Finally at 16-15, 40-30 I put away a smash and the title was mine! I had finally won after 5 hours, 15 minutes - my 1st US Open Title and my 7th Grand Slam Title overall! :D

2008 China Open:
I continued my momentum as I took back the World Number 1 position after the US Open, extending my winning streak to 22 matches by winning another China Open title - I beat Nadal in the final 6-4, 6-4!

Then moved on to 2008 Shanghai Masters, where I reached the semi-finals before retiring against Nadal before losing 3-6, 6-2, 2-6 - we have had some interesting battles this year already, but I have to be focused otherwise the match slips away. This ended my win-streak at 25, but I already had 2 Slam Titles for the year, so I was more than happy!

2008 Paris Masters - I lost to Nalbandian 5-7, 5-7 in the QFs, which was very surprising as I had destroyed him many times before - but I think playing indoors was the real issue.

2008 WTF:

RR: Zeiner def. Ferrer 6-3, 7-6
RR: Djokovic def. Zeiner 6-3, 6-3
RR: Zeiner def. Roddick 6-4, 7-5
SF: Federer def. Zeiner 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 - this was a fantastic comeback win for Federer, who had to save 1 match point. this was the first time I have ever lost after holding match points - and it was also the final match of the season.

Overall Win/Loss record for the 2008 season was 71-9, which was not bad - but I will definitely look to improve that for 2009!
Australian Open - 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009
Roland Garros - 2005, 2006
Wimbledon - 2009
US Open - 2008

So, where were we? Oh yes, Roland Garros, Paris. R1 against that French WC, absolutely no problems, I made 70 winners in 3 sets, only 13 UEs, result: 6-0 6-1 6-1 (11 consecutive games from 6-0 0-1 to 6-0 6-1 5-0). Then R2 against Gasquet - first set was very tough, I deserve more than the only game I won in tha set. It should probably were a 6-4, maybe 6-3, but I lost it 6-1 :/ second set was totally different: broke him for 3-0 and then a chance for 4-0, but he managed to save it and recover to 3-3 :O we kept our services till the tiebreak, but I was exhausted by that set... he went up 5-0 in the tiebreak, then 6-1 and closed it 7-3. I knew I hadn't anything left to give, and I won only 5 points in the last set. But I was happy to fight for one set and a half with Ritchie :D
Now, the grass season starts: Last year I played only Wimbledon due to my Injury. I Entered in Queen's 250 and I was 3rd seed. R1 I against Garcia Lopez - very good match 6-4 6-2 in my favour. But the good thing was that I felt incredibely confident on this surface!! I knew I could arrive to quarterfinals at least. R3 I faced Vanek, who is very dangerous on this surface... won 6-3 the first set, broke him instantly for *1-0 but he managed to re-broke him immediately and keep his services' games till 5-5. And there he incredibely dropped his level and gave me the pass for quarters - 6-3 7-5 the result. In quarterfinals I faced Tsonga, and I knew it would be a veeeery tough match. He was on fire in the 1st set, broke me twice and won the set 6-2. He was totally unplayable on his serve's games... but going into the next set, I was sure he would drop his level... and so it was! I broke him on 2-1 and won the set 6-3 - deciding set was necessary! Again he was unplayable, but I was too XD I aced him 13 times in the final set - 25 in the whole match! Obviously we went to the tiebreak. He went 2-0, but I kept my cool and recover to 2-2. Then I went 4-3, and I broke him :D 5-3, then 5-4 and 6-4. I put the 1st serve in, he return poorly, I hit the forehand with a lot of power... maybe too much power .-. the ball landed out :O so 6-5. and He served a strong 1st service, I returned quite well and he made a UE with his backhand!!! 2-6 6-3 7-6(5) in ONLY 1h 47 mins :D Now I'll play my 3rd semifinal... I won the first in metz and lost the second in Brisbane this year... let's see!

Hey all ! I've start a new season, with Maxou Patch. I'm Roger Federer in 2015.

Doha 2015
1st round : 6/4 7/5 vs. Marcos Baghdatis  Tough match. I served well with 8 aces, the eighth on match point.
2nd round : 6/0 7/5 vs. G. Garcia-Lopez  Bagel in 1st set, and great backhand battle in 2nd set, with a more agressive play by GGL.
1/4 final : 4/6 2/6 vs. Rafael Nadal  First Fedal of the season and first win for Rafa, who played right on all important rallies.

 Nadal won his 1st trophy of the year, defeating Berdych in 3 sets, 6/4 6/7(3) 7/5. Tsonga and Wawrinka loosed vs. Krygios and Sock.
 Stan Wawrinka won Sydney, with a superb 2-sets win vs. Djokovic in the final. In 1/2, Wawrinka defeats Murray in 2 sets. Djokovic defeats Nadal in 3 sets.

Australian Open 2015
Possible draw  J.Sousa / R.Harrison / M.Baghdatis / Isner-Janowicz / Nadal-Raonic / Djokovic / Murray-Wawrinka. Big draw for me. but Murray is playing Krygios in 1st round. 8-)
