with the default config, it's still very easy to do it ; and yup, before it was too easy to unwillingly do the short slice.

And what was wrong with the original combination, which was IIRC short shot + slice(in either order)?

Sadly this seems to be the answer:

I'm glad the short slice button combo was fixed. Because, before, half my slice shots turned into short slice shots because of running forward. Completely better now.

Not saying that its wrong reason, because its probably true for some, just that is unfortunate.

Hi Manutoo,

I am running unmodded 2011 1.0f. When I try to apply your patch for version 2013, the installation seems to work fine. But when trying to run the game, I get this message:

Missing, Wrong Version, or Corrupted Data Files. Please re-install the game.

you can't continue your career in TE2013.
If you just want to go on logging your matches in the same file, play and lose 1 match in your new career, look the exact name of the created MatchLog & rename your ancient one to this new name, and then replay your 1st match normally.

it should work. Create a topic with your System.log of a unmodded game (except for the new outfits) in the Modding Forum if it doesn't.

What about "slice + short shot" then? Pushing 3 buttons to hit one shot is annoying and kinda hard too.

Je m'adresse à ceux qui parlent français (dure journée au boulot aujourd'hui donc la flemme de parler anglais encore, même une fois arrivé chez moi...).

J'ai vu que la version '13 est sortie récemment.
Les différents patchs marchent-ils avec cette nouvelle version ou les différents moders doivent-ils d'abord effectuer des modifications dessus ?
2ème question : pensez-vous que je dois tout réinstaller en suivant la procédure des patchs ou est-ce que j'ai juste à télécharger la version 2013 par dessus le patch installé?

Je n'ose pas installer la version 2013 du coup, j'attends une réponse fiable...

If you miss a volley dropshot, it will show Volley dropshot winner #1 or etc instead of error..

Thanks, manutoo, that did it. And it is good that you can run versions 11 and 13 independently (in two different folders), and even use the same ini files!

honestly im dissapointed with the new game. this is supposed to be a new game, with many changes thats why its called TE 2013, not just a simple update. the new game doesnt bring many changes so i was surprised to see TE 2013 is just a small TE 2011 update.. i mean at least just change something like the menu music or the way the menu looks, or change the sounds and incorporate better ones.. just somethin !!! nothing new just same old game

I understand what Raz means here Manutoo,no wonder this version was free for TE11 users as it's an update - Even the menu still reads Tennis Elbow 2011 I would have paid for the 2013 version without thinking if it had properly been revamped

Issue noticed: on CPU's serve, no matter how well you return, CPU will reply with a weak and slow shot on the middle. Please fix this

1- for Mods, it should usually work, but better to see the exact details with each Mod in the Modding Forum.
2- most clean way = uninstall everything + reinstall game + key + mod

Maybe its just me. But it seems like this version is the same as the last update. It feels no different. The one thing I have notice is that sometimes I have a lag when I prepare for certain shots online and offline. It could just be my imagination.

SamModder is right. It is only after a CPU second serve though. No matter what return I hit after a 2nd serve by the CPU, the CPU replies with a very weak shot down the middle of the court.

After a second serve by the cpu I hit a hard shot and then the cpu hit a slow shot on the center of the court!! Help me!!

But that can be fixed easily by remapping the keys, I think.
