on fast incoming ball, the Counter accel is still fast enough, around 130km/h vs 135km/h for the PB.

If u say so, i just said what my experience against good movers showed me, its a bit harder now to hit winners to them..but nothing impossible aswell so no problem

I collected the facts about 100 games by log-files and compared this with stats from http://www.atpworldtour.com/Press/Rankings-and-Stats, http://www.atpstats.info and some other sites.

At the same time, I feel bound to say that I'm agreed with the impression that
  • counters should get more accelerated strikes and
  • short strikes should be more flat to defend players on net (or something else to fix that).
By the way - John Isner (14), who lead the statistics of serving aces (1.31 per serving game), served about 27% more aces like me. At the same time I served 13% more aces than Roger Federer (2) (and who will tell us that Federer is bad at service). Juan Monaco (13) is the worst player at serving aces with only 0.07 aces per serving game. :D

Altogether I am a counter with 65% points (fair mode) at service  so I think there's no argument for too slowly or inefficent services.

Some other nice facts: 1st service percentage was 73% (TE) and 61% in real tennis (TOP 100 ATP in 2012), 1st service average speed 182 km/h (TE) and 181 km/h (TOP 50 ATP in 2012) :!: ...

Where did you find the aces/serving games stats?
Because for the year 2012 Isner served 1.16 ace per serving game not 1.31 and Raonic did better than Isner with 1.23.
Federer did 0.638 and Monaco 0.14.

Alos your survey is pretty worhtless if you don't provide the actual data.
You can't just say that this and that have increased by X% if you don't provide the figures that you're supposed to have calculated to back it up.

Dear J.Crété,
the stats are official ATP stats, released on 9th december 2012. At the end whether 1.31 or 1.16, result are the same: services in Tennis Elbow are comparable with real tennis. And we shouldn't begin to count beans that today isn't 9th december. :D

By the way - Isner served 1.002 aces in 765 service games, Raonic 1.005 aces in 810 service games. Calculate.

this new update is very, very strange. everything seems slower and unpredictable. top spin shot is useless...

looks to me this a change, just for the sake of the change. no need to do this. the last update before this one was fine...

have been playing this game for years, but i think i need to take a break, as these big changes happen way to often, with no apparent reason.

Manu,Dasp...

Counter style is only playable in free mode like normal.

in tournee and fair mode:if ms is over 200 and maybe 150 you can't hit a clear counter shot =>for example: then you hit a high slow and not a deep shot and you get every time a winner around your ears!!!
And especially with the new release it's even slower then before.

BUT in free mode it's fine play with counter like it was and it should be.

Greetz toyo,

It isn't completely useless, i mean against players that aren´t great movers its fine, but if ur playing against top players it's almost impossible to use this style

Dasp,
yup, I re-checked, and the Counter lacked a lil bit of power ; ie: it was nearly impossible to hit a winner against the CPU Pro-10, even when standing 3m inside the baseline...
It should be ok with Build 95 now...

If I'm not mistaken, Blue Clay won't come back next year, so I won't incorporate it in the game...

Toyo,
"high slow and not a deep shot" = you pressed the hit button too late (it happens more easily with high Delay).

Algo please!

This game is a very hard game to play sometimes, for many players here...

The goal is for almost everyone to play for your ELO points.Every single match.
And if you know your level in online play, well it's terrible for players to lose from players => not that good as you are.(after new releases or updates)
So as moderator in world tour you should stay out of this topic and giving critical answers as =>tired of<=. You must know better then that!

And WHY??? If ELO is not that important then we all playing the tennis games on the console boxes.
But you cannot compare those console games to this unique TElbow game, so the ELO quotation is maybe the most important thing that making this game so popular!

Or maybe I saw...
