Strategy in 3D matches

Postby evandm11 » 27 Mar 2024, 22:48

Hello, I love TEM2 so much! I was wondering if there was any advice out there on how best to use the gauges that adjust your players tactics and strategy in 3D matches, particularly on clay because I am struggling to win any matches against opponents with very similar groundstroke skills to my players. I have gathered that small percentage changes are generally better, but I have found that the most intuitive strategies on clay (lowering net will, attack will etc.) make the player often get caught in no mans land or not attack balls they probably should. Increasing those leads to too many mistakes and leaving them at zero works best but still find myself losing to players that I should probably be beating considering form and skills. If this helps, I generally create players with the counter and puncher game style.

Hello,

no, sorry, there's no guideline about all that ; you have to find by yourself what works for your player in a general way, and specifically against your current opponent, which is often more about feeling than hard science... :blackeye:

1 quick tip : try to keep your Focus skill a bit above your (Speed + Muscle Tone) / 2, it may help.

Else, you can post a screenshot of your Character Sheet and I'll tell you if there's any obvious weakness about him.
