Balancing players

Not sure if this is complete fluke, can easily be

But you might wanna check a bit balancing issues in earlier era

Borg, McEnroe have barely won anything, while Solomon got 10 GS Titles in a few years

Then Sundstrom got 3 titles in 1 year :D

Obviously shouldn't be 100% correct, it wouldn't be fun then, but maybe few players need some tweaks :)

EDIT: 1986. Miroslav Mecir Sr. just did Grand Slam in one season :D
Rank: 2008 (5), 2009 (16), 2010 (6)

Results 2010: Singles (70-27), Doubles (56-19)

Titles 2010: Davis Cup, Valencia (s), Eastbourne (d), Zagreb (d), Paris (d)
Final 2010: 10 (US Open (s), Wimbledon (d), Madrid (d), WTF London (d)...)

Hello,

hum, it sounds like there's a bug...

Solomon & Mecir are around the 8-9th rank, it's ok to win a Slam with that, but not a ton, especially with low Constancy skill (ie: they should have some very bad days sometimes)...

Did you Mod anything in your game ?

Who ends number 1 at the end of each year ?

I used your mod, from that mod kit
topic11-31376.php
basically just changing to Real Names

I got number 1s from some seasons, not all...here is screen shot
http://prntscr.com/ofwjsq
http://prntscr.com/ofwjxu
http://prntscr.com/ofwk2u

One season Solomon won 4 tournaments in total, 3 of them were grand slams...that can easily be fluke, but mighty one :D

When I got to Sampras era, he was dominating as it should, winning 18 slams from 1991 to 2000. Which I is pretty accurate (Wimbledon 9 times in a row)
I also played a lot from 2000s onward, and Federer, Nadal, Djokovic are dominating as intented.

Seems like problematic balance is prior 1990

I can simulate it again to see another variation of results

my conclusion:
Borg - not even reaching finals of normal tournaments, way underpowered for some reason
http://prntscr.com/ofww1h
http://prntscr.com/ofwwjq
Connors - a bit below avreage
Solomon - got 5 Grand slams prior to 1980. season http://prntscr.com/ofwvcl
Gerulaitis - pretty much on avreage, maybe a bit better than it should be
Dibbs - won GS titles on few occasions

I checked and actually a lot of top players from the past had way too low Special Skills (the ones linked to the BestRank) and thus had almost no chance to win any slam !

It should be fixed in today's update, coming in a few hours, thanks to your detailed report !
