Hiii
I’m enjoying the TEM 2 which I picked up this week, I’ve gotten pretty addicted already lol I’ve only encountered one bug so far too and that was resolved the other day really quickly, so thank you for that.
A quick gameplay question... when you hire a like real life pro during a career as a junior, obviously you can’t see their potentials because it’s hidden, so are the real life guys potentials preset or is it really a complete guessing game regarding how much you need to train potentials against skills?

Strikeware203,
actually, I meant to fix the Serve n°1, but I was in a rush and I didn't check the result carefully and the ball bouncing is ok, but not the throwing...
It'll be fixed in next update !

For the frame drop, how often does it happen ? And how do you check fps ? With the in-game counter ?
I did a quick check and I got a solid 118-120fps (from the in-game counter) with a little drop every 1 minute or so (I just teste for a couple of minutes :P ). It may be due to garbage collection.
So if you get that more often than every 100s ( = 65s * 120 / 75), it may be because of something running in the background ?

Hazzaorharry,
a potential will raise a bit slower if the hired player theoretical potential is less than 100%. Also, if you train him a lot, his potential can even go a bit higher than his theoretical potential (IIRC).
So if you notice a potential raising more slowly than usual, it means it'll be hard to get it near 100%

iopzzza,
I still have to do the Coach Center & the update the player bases, 1st... ;)

@Manutoo: Can you tell me what affects the developement of AI players? I don't know if you answered this already anywhere else.
Potential, Age and Ranking in the Playerbase have influence on the Player, am I right? What about winning Matches and Tournaments!? So for example: Let's have a look at Alexander Zverev. When I start at 2018 he is already a top player, when I start in 2017 and he is losing a lot, will he have less skills at the beginning of 2018?

cj1984,
it's only the RankPerYear in the Players.ini that determines the skills for each year ; nothing else makes the player evolves.

Yes, I use the in-game counter to check fps. I will try to time it now.

The weird part is that I never had that problem before, I think it's something that came with one of the latest SubBuilds (wouldn´t know what's causing it  )

My PC is actually quite good so I don't see why running something in the background would affect the game, but I'll try to run just the game and see what happens!

Okay Manu, so I checked and it's a constant frame drop even when I don't have anything running in the background.

Playing warm up is alright, but playing a match is really annoying. It can still get as low as 58fps, when I should have no problem running it at 100fps o more, let alone 75fps. I don't know what to do

P.S. The throw when serving seems to be fixed now!

Strikeware203,
and how often the framerate drop occurs ? If it's more often than on my PC, it might not be linked to garbage collection. Could you try today's update and tell me if it's better or not ?

It happens all the time, like every three seconds. I tried the latest subbuild and lowering the graphics but it keeps happening.

I don't know what else to do. I really want to play but it's so annoying

If you have any suggestions let me know!

Strikeware203,
I have a PC very similar to yours (I7@4.6ghz + NVidia 1060GT 6GB + 32 GB of RAM, on Windows 10) and I just tested and I got 0 significant frame drop in the couple of minutes I played, likely thanks to my last week optimization (I hadn't tested it so far :P ), except when the crowd starts & ends to applause, but it's normal, considering what's happening under the hood, and it's not annoying gameplay wise as the point is over.

Globally my framerate is mostly locked at 119.8-120.0 with the occasional drop at ~115 which is barely noticeable, all that with the max settings.

I found a bad bug though : on the 2nd match, the crowd of the 1st match isn't deleted, and thus the crowd grows & grows at each new match started..! It'll be fixed in the next update. Meanwhile, you can disable the crowd.

But if it doesn't help, then you should really check for any background activity ; this tool is pretty neat to notice spikes in the CPU activity : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint ... s-explorer .

Else, update your NVidia drivers ; it often can be the cause of unexpected issues. Also, check you didn't force MSAA 4x in your NVidia drivers settings, or something like that.

Finally, be sure you run on the High-Performance power plan, or at least the balanced one, in your Windows 10 Power Options.

Let me know if you find the root of your issue.

Strikeware203,
I just found out if the game was dropping some frame, it was creating hiccup and could lead to more dropped frames.
I fixed that. It may not fix your issue of frame dropping, but it might make it a bit less noticeable. Anyway, let me know if you notice a change or not. (it's in the "no version change" update of today, done after the Beta release :blackeye: )

The game won't have the possibility to play with a existing player which has the stats already done ?

SCHLIRi,
you can hire players with skills already trained.
For your main player, maybe I'll add the possibility to start a few years into the career of a player in the base.

Hey Manu! Sorry I didn't reply before, I was on vacation. :D

I was reading everything that happened this last month and saw you released the beta version. I'll check that out and get back to you if I have any bugs of frame drops.

I'll also post this on the beta version's thread in case you don't open this one anymore haha.

Cheers!
