Sent an Email with saves before matches with players using the wrong animations, but reproducing the incisible players bug is quite random so I haven't been able to do that yet. It was SubBuild 2018.12.8 which I was using (although I still haven't updated to today's SubBuild in case that has any importance).

Also:

1) The set default profile button doesn't seem to work outright, it just selects the current default profile in the profile menu

2) This is not during a match, I selected continue later on the match displayed, but when I went to the settings menu afterwards, it showed this:

TEM2_001.jpg

3) As for the profile making the training schedules remain nameless, that may have been my fault because of me changing the profile in the "Mods" configuration setting file instead of selecting it from the profiles menu, although I don't see why that should affect this.

4) Whenever I try to type in a % symbol into a training schedule/coaching strategy name, the game always crashes.

MichaelTA,

1) This is working as designed :blackeye:

2) It's wanted : when the 3D view is available, it's shown so it's easier to configure the camera and the video settings

3) Hum, I guess your profile .ini got corrupted then ; you can post it and I'll check it

4) Ouch ! I just prevented to enter a % for now on ; once the engine will have been ported, it'll be possible to use it again

5) I got your saved game and tried both the singles from Save D and the doubles from Save E, but everything was alright. Maybe it's a bug that occurs only after a few matches ? Or maybe you have modded the game anims ?

1) Should it be a Select Default Profile button then, or am I just misunderstanding this button's use?

2) That makes sense now that I think about it, but if the background will be from a match, could you remove the energy/breath/form bars and the scoreboard? It would look a lot better I think.

3) Looking at it again, I don't know if the profile has any affect on naming the schedules or not. Both the profile I created for the calendar mod I have and the default profile have this issue. Just in case that's wrong, I sent you the profiles anyway. Although, I have found that training schedules are specific to the profile being used as opposed to the save file. Is that intentional?

5) I haven't modded the animations, but after I reloaded the save games the players were left handed instead of right handed, which may be a cause of the bug, possibly that only occurs after playing a right handed player first (I don't know if that's definitely a cause or not though).

The next week button in the training screen doesn't show a warning whenever you have training hours left.

MichaelTA,

1) Ok, I renamed the button to "Select Default Profile", it might be more clear

2) Done for the next update !

3) The training schedules are saved within the saved game. The Real-time Coaching values are saved in the profile .ini (so it's possible to test stuff in the Training Club and then use the results in the World Tour).
I took your "2018 Mod.Ini", loaded the B slot and then passed the current week, recorded 1 training, and I could name the schedule like expected. So maybe it happens when you change the profile on start and then go on doing stuff ?

5) In the Training Club, I changed the player from left/right handed a couple of times without issue, so it might have another parameter coming into play... :fear:

6) This is by design, as when you have only 1 player, it's easy to see his training hours in that screen. You'd like a warning in all cases ? Or only if having other players with some hours left ?

1) I don't see a need for the warning with only one player, but it would be nice with multiple players if a player which is not currently being viewed in the training screen has some hours left.

2) Is there a way to make the Olympics (or any tournament for that matter) last 2 weeks? It's like this in real life (9 days, overlaps saturday and sunday). It would be very appreciated if I could lengthen the time for the Olympics with me using best of 5 for that tournament

3) The page numbers seem to be malfunctioning in tournament draws like so (it applies in main draws as well as qualifying draws):

TEM2_004.jpg

TEM2_005.jpg

TEM2_006.jpg

TEM2_007.jpg

4) Is it possible to allow a player to enter qualifying of a tournament in the same country as a tournament they are currently in, e.g. if a player is still in the doubles at a nation's F1 event and was entered for the F2 event for singles qualifying, can it be changed so that they can enter this qualifying?

5) If viewing a 3D match, and the mouse is hovered over a coaching option, the menu will disappear due to mouse activity. If the mouse moves again to bring the options back, but doesn't move off of the button that the mouse was previously hovering over, there is no way to click on the bar where the slider should go (clicking only increases by 1%).

TEM2_010.jpg

TEM2_011.jpg

It's quite hard to notice, but you can see that normally there should be arrows to the left anf right of the box, but whenever this glitch occurs the arrows disappear.

6) I've noticed that the invisible players glitch will occur if you try this:
-Play in world tour, selecting to skip to important points, automatically skipping to next important points
-Keep the auto skip enabled, so that the next match that is started will start being fast forwarded
-After playing at lest 3-4 consecutive matches, without closing the game, and a doubles match starts, the players should turn invisible after the skipping stops to play an important point

7) To view the wrong side animations, you should probably encounter this is trying to reproduce comment 6, but if not, play against someone left handed player in a match, provided you have previously played a few right handed players in the same game session. This seems to work for me reproducing the glitch.

MichaelTA,
1) Noted down

2) Not easily ; you can try to set the draw to have 6 rounds, so it'll be on 2 weeks, though (ie: have at least 65 players)

3) It's pages for up/down, not left/right, because for left/right there are the round names shown, but nothing is shown for up/down... :blackeye:

4) No, it'd mess up the internal state to be at 2 different tournaments at once

5) Fixed for the next update !

6) 7) Still cannot reproduce either issue...
Also, the match shouldn't start fast forwarding. I tried and I have to manually click on "Fast Forward To Next Important Point" to start the fast forwarding on the 2nd match, so I'm not sure what's going on here...
Could you close the game the next time it happens to you, and send me your System.Log ? Maybe the engine will catch some error.

Oops I misunderstood the page numbers.

1) These are the settings I have and it always will start skipping in a match (after the first one anyway) automatically.

TEM2_012.jpg

2) I haven't been able to get the invisible players to happen again so I don't know if it somehow fixed itself or if I was just lucky, but the wrong animation still happens. I think you need to be in world tour mode and after playing at least a couple of right handers, a left hander will be glitched. It fixes itself after rebooting the game every time, and I tend to not save before every match so I haven't yet got a save game along with a system.log to send you.

3) Could it be possible to make futures qualifying end on a monday/tuesday because this would really help with having a chance to qualify for singles early on if a player reaches the QF of the doubles the week before? I don't know if it would be practical but I might as well ask in case.

MichaelTA,

1) I found out the issue, it'll be fixed for the next update !

2) I had tested about the left-handers in World Tour after a couple of singles matches with only right handers, but it worked so it might have another thing coming into play :fear:

3) I'm not sure to understand ; if the qualies of a draw are on Week 1 and the main draw is on Week 2, you'd like the qualies to end on Monday/Tuesday of Week 2, right ?
At this point, it'd be an endless headache to have qualies moved to Week 2, and even more to have them split over 2 weeks. Does it work like this in real life ?

2) Matches starting in fast forward mode may be one of the factors affecting this, so I'll let you know after the next update comes out if the issue continues.

3) In real life, qualifying varies a lot as to when it starts, but usually it would be Saturday (maybe Friday or Sunday) for futures events. When they end also varies a lot, but Monday and usually Tuesday would tend to have qualifying matches being played. I understand that it would be very awkward to implement (that's probably an understatement), but I thought I might as well suggest it in case you would have any ideas to help with the issue of constantly having to miss singles qualifying (the issue is only really apparant in futures events, but does exist for challengers as well) because of doubles success. Even if doubles matches were played earlier in these tournaments such as by having the final on Friday/Saturday (which happens in real life also) the issue would be lessened, which I probably should have suggested instead.

MichaelTA,

2) I just updated the game

3) Ok, next time I change the saved game format, I will change the final day for doubles tournaments with 4 rounds to Saturday instead of Sunday.
Meanwhile, with today's update, it's now possible to mod the play day for each round. Remove the starting "//" from this line in TourCategory.ATP.Ini :
//PlayDayD = 0011110 0011110
and the final will play on Friday for the Future tournaments. Each number is for a day of the week, from Sunday to Monday ; 0 = doesn't play ; 1 = play. 1st number is for the top half of the draw, 2nd one is for the bottom half of the draw.
If you do this with a saved game in the middle of a week, it'll mess up your current tournaments.

Do we have the ability to add and modify the appearance of players in the Players.ATP and Players.WTA files? I recreated the entire top 1000 from 2000-2018 including year end rankings and would love to be able to bring them into this game. But, since the new player files don't include appearance attributes, it doesn't really work.

Guest,
outfits currently work in TEM2 exactly like in TE2013, nothing has changed.
If you put new clothes in TE2013, you'll have to put them in TEM2 as well.
